Not that I need information, or anything...
I just don't know what to present.
I need something that will protray the band's awesomeness for a class of 20-something. It can't be a Power-Point, I'm not that good with computers and the teacher won't allow it. There's not enough time for me to make a good coustume of one of the band members...and I'd screw that up, anyways. A poster is just too...plain. I need something that bottles the essence of Queen.
Oh, and it's due next week. sweatdrop
I am already planning to play the video of Scandal for the class, and write a report, but I need something to go with it, something homemade and visual.
...Should I just repair my clay-maniquins of Freddie's outfits and my home-made fake broken microphone stand? Or should I get something new?
Any suggestions I am open for. I am just...blank at what I should do.

You're playing Scandal? confused Thats not the best video, or song. You should play a video of a song that everyone knows, but may not know what the video looks like. For example the Break Free video. 4laugh
I think you should definately show his outfits. And don't forget to mention all the iconic songs that are from Queen too! 3nodding

I'm going to move this to the main forum. You'll get more help there (you've hit the outlands in this forum. xd )
Anyway, as stated, Scandal isn't the best video to show.
But Break Free might be too racy for school? Like, in the middle section. Yeahhh. Hm... Killer Queen? Or do you have anything live? For doing a report on a band, I'd play a more known song.
Outfits, vinyls, pictures, etc.
Poster boards can come in handy for this... it is possible to make them less boring. whee

You should draw a picture of the Queen crest, but maybe add some of your own little things, like have the lions eating some beetles, or mauling some eagles. The crab can be pinching a lead zeppelin? I dunno, you can see what I'm getting at. razz

Hello, new-member-who-I-haven't-met-yet! heart I would suggest Somebody to Love as your video. Why? Well, it shows the band in a working setting, the studio, but also includes live footage from the 70's. A nice balance. Also, it's a well known song, but it doesn't grate the nerves like WWRY or WATC. xd As for a neat visual prop, why not do a hand-out? biggrin You can make it look like a one-page concert flyer but fill it with information about the band. Everyone could have a copy and you can read them the details and have them follow along instead of boring the class with a poster. whee ((Fairy, I've never had the nerve to watch IWTBF. What happens in the middle?))

Outfits are good. i'd like to see pictures of those. i'm pretty fond of the Bohemian Rhapsody video myself, but most people have already seen that one. However, it is considered a landmark video... How long does the report need to be? That would add about six minutes...

I was thinking just reparing the outfits I had for the report last year on Freddie, that would the be easiest.

You can look away for Roger's scene, but John in the curlers and Freddie dancing with the vacuum is wonderful.

He's more than half naked. He's in what seems to be a skin tight seethru leotard that's been painted in places. Honestly, half naked Freddie does nothing for me (all that hair...). Freddie does nothing for me, period... >>;
