Your pathetic and you make me sick! A very deep voice with in a dark mulity brown ulaya's head. It wasn't his own voice, yet a different one. One that had always been there. It was what kept this Ulaya's mouth shut. He didn't want the voice to some how escape his own lips.

Oh shut up! You know everything I say is right. Or I wouldnt' even be here, Hakim. He closed his eyes and tried to ignore the voice as he walked along a trail in a forrest. He wasn't exactly sure where he was. Nor did he care.

He listend to his foot steps before opening his eyes. Stopping rather quickly as he noticed he could have walked straight into a tree. Idiot! Look what you tried to do. You tried to kill us again. "It wouldn't have killed me." He said out loud.

He sometimes found himself talking to himself. Well, at least it looked like he was talking to himself. He stood there staring at the tree. For some reason his legs wouldn't move anymore. I have control over you too. Just not your vocals. God how he hated it when that voice was right.

Hitomi chortled. Here she was, accused of kidnapping when all she had done was tried to get her treasured pendant back. She had come into the forest to seperate herself from the irksome twins and the two that had come to "rescue" them. What fools. "They should put them on a leash, or something," She muttered in disgust, her voice, melodious as it was, muffled by the leaves that began to close in on her head.

She sighed as she had to leave one path that had ended in order to find one that would take her through the forest. She threw up her head to look at the dappled sky showing through the canopy of leaves above, and through her long, blonde hair that hung to one side of her face. Her ear gave an invoulntairy twitch as she heard the voice of a male soar through the forest. But there was no responding voice. How queer, she thought to herself. I must investigate this at once! She trotted towards the voice, her clothing trailing behind her as though she was taking her own "red carpet" with her.

Hakim hadn't heard the other. He was still stuck rooted to the spot. "Can I move yet?" He asked. It looked as if he was asking the tree sinceh is head was also stuck in that spot. No. You don't get to move until I feel like moving you. This was rather annoying. He had better things to do.

At least the voice couldn't make him attack anyone. Only stop him from doing stuff. It made things easy. Well, if we worked together I wouldn't even have to stop your movements. "I wouldn't want to work with you even if you weren't bother some." He said closing his eyes. At least he had control of that. He didn't want to stare at the tree anymore. He felt silly talking to it.

Only others will think your talking to a tree. Which, is rather funny, isn't it? "Only imature voices like you would find this funny." he said. His voice was still a calm quiet tone. He had no clue if there were others around. His ears had seemed to be only paying attention to the voice. Even though it was inside his head.

Hitomi heard the voice with no face sail through the air again and paused, paw in midair. She was stealthy, enough to take two twins by suprise so she could give chase, but as she was more curious than vengeful, she continued to creep upon the source, her two-toned eyes wide open and unblinking.

When she had come to the source, she analyzed the situation, quickly throwing her gaze about the scene. A male, alone, talking to....a tree? Is there someone in the tree? She wondered, her head tilting and hair brushing the forest floor. She laid down silently, head racing with situations in which this peculiar male would fit.

Oh, your calling me imature when your the one talking to a tree. "Well, I can't talk to you in my head, you take up all the space in there." He said irritated. The voice always wanted to fight with him. "Now, why don't you go away and let me be on my way. I don't like this tree. It smells quite funny."

No. You will listen to me for once!"Why? Your idea's make me sick" He said simply. His voice still as calm as ever. He hadn't realized that someone was watching him. Nor would he care at this point.

"Why won't you let me go?" I'm just waiting. You see, it's fun toying with others. Especially when they might think you crazy. "I am crazy. I have a voice in my head." His eyes opened seeing the tree again.

I'm hurt... "Good." A few seconds went by before anothing happened. As soon as the voice had came. It had left. Had it felt the presence of the other? Who knew. Hakim could now move his legs. He stood up and shook his Head. " Good ridence."

Hitomi looked on, now more confused than ever. She stood, shook herself alittle to let her hair, fur, and adornments settle into place. She looked what of herself she could see over, and when she was satisfied, she stepped regally from behind the brush. "Good Riddance to whom?" She said, giving a small smirk. Hopefully this male wouldn't hear about the "kidnapping" from the little girl that had robbed her and given her a bad reputation.

She approached him with minor caution, maintaining a proud air that seemed to exhume from her every move. Once more she cocked her head, her hair coming ever closer to touching the ground, and smiled at the male. "So who, if I may be so brazen as to submit another query, are you?"

Hakim froze, this time it wasn't the voice that had stopped his movements. He wanted to continue walking, but someone had been watching. Which made him wonder. The voice never stuck around very long when others came. His eyes went to the corner and looked at her without moving the rest of his body.

He was completely silent. Then she asked something else. Yes... She was moving on. This time he turned his head and looked at her. She was very strange from the other Ulaya female he had met. It was kind of odd that he had only ran into females. He raised an eye brow. She seemed to be wearing clothing.

Well, at least he wasn't so crazy. His face was completely blank. "Hakim." He said simply. His eyes rested on the pendant that she so happened to be wearing. He had no clue who she was. He didn't say anything but his name.

Hitomi, oblivious to his gaze-or ignoring it, nodded. "Hakim...." She repeated, "And because it is only proper to offer one's own name while asking anothers', I am Hitomi, charmed." She left off the words that would have made her cordial greeting a snide remark, but her smirk showed itself anyway.

Hitomi sat, though prepared to rise in an instant if this male had become bored with this scenery. She, herlself was the kind to be very picky when it came to settling in a set place, but none the less, she waited. Wondering if this male would say something more.

He continued to just look at her. He wasn't even blinking, it was like he was frozen. Finally, his ears twitched a little from a fly that had landed on one ear, then the next.

He blinked finally. "Why are you here?" He asked in a low calm voice. He scanned the area as if he was hoping something wouldn't come back. Well, of course, it was the voice that he had been talking to. She didn't need to know that. His dark green-brown eyes looked straight in to her green yellow one.

Her hair was very long which made Hakim very curious. He'd never thought furr could grow like that. He had a hole bunch of questions to ask her, but he didn't even say anything. It wasn't his place to ask at all. His eyes laid back onto the pendant she wore. It looked like some sort of thing that might have black magic in.

"Well I heard there was treasure, so I thought I'd stay and look for it!" Hitomi said, her sarcastic voice undetictable, and seeming to sense his wary attitude. She grinned at Hakim, and threw back her head, shifting her hair and pendant to rest on a new part of her golden fur.

She finally caught his glance when the stone's light reflected in his eyes. She tilted her head, blonde hair falling closer to the ground and said, "Well.....? What?"

This female was getting on his nerves. Normally he wouldn't get angry, but she wasn't very nice. He's eyes moved from that pendant to her eyes and he glared. He didn't like this very much at all.

Then she asked him a question. He just stared at her for a minute and they said in a calm low voice. "I don't feel the need to answer anymore of your questions." He turned his head and started moving in the direction he was going. Maybe she won't follow him.

He blinked and didn't look behind him. If she was to follow, then what? He didn't know what he was going to do. Tell her to get lost? No. He couldn't do that. He tried to only say polite things. It was the voice that had all his rudeness in it.

Hitomi tilted her head. No one had ever treated her like this. She stood, confused, and began to follow him, her head turned so that one dazzling green and yello eye was infront of her.

Perhaps she should start calling him cute names? Add a little suffix? She turned several over in her head, not realising where she was even being led. She began to glance above, watching the clouds roll by.

He saw her in the corner of his eye as she started to follow him. He'd never been so irritated in his life. He kept quiet. If she didn't start calling him stupid things, or saying anything at all for that matter he didn't care if she followed him.

He moved rather gracefully through the area. Not as quiet as a hunter, but pretty dang quiet. He didn't even think that he should be considered as an upper class ulaya. His saphire gem was rather annoying and he hated it. Why was it stuck on his forehead. He'd much rather she had the saphire gem. It suited her well.

Hitomi sighed. She padded up to keep pace next to Hakim and stared at him. She glanced at his feet, amazed at the stealth he showed. However, because she was not watching her own, she stumbled and fell to the ground. Her delicate head hit the ground with a slight "Umph!" and for a moment she was still.

In a second, she gathered her feet under her and blushed a deep, deep, scarlet. She stammered as she tried to explain why she fell. "Um.....I..." She was humiliated. After acting the way she had, and now this....? But, why should she even care? She cast her look aside as she tourterd her own mind with countless thoughts.

He watched her fall in the corner of his eye. He didn't stop walking, but slowed just a tiny bit. His attention was back on the path he was walking. He was silent for a few second after she spoke. "You don't need to tell me that you fell. I saw you." He simply said. He didn't care why she fell, he just hoped she wasn't hurt, though he didn't say anything.
