Tahmores paced around the small room he had wandered into. The tiny ichsa foal was nowhere to be found, though he did find his way to the room with her help. He had wanted to stay there in case Ka came around looking for Yi. He felt safe in the deeper regions of the cave, despite Yi telling him that it was a maze in the cave and that anyone who wasn't paying attention could get lost.
Flicking an ear, he lifted one forehoof carefully and let it rest on the wall of the room. It wasn't as boring as it sounded like being left alone all the time. He had the little ichsa to help him wander around the labarinth.
Sighing, he closed his eyes slightly, letting his mind drift slightly. He felt like he was at home in this strange place and he didn't want to leave it.

Yi snorted angerly. She had told him not to wander! She has asked Irada and the filly, relucently, said she had no idea at the moment. However the heiress did not think to doubt the story. She stormed around the tunnels, her hooves clearly sounding her annoyence. Oh he would have an earful! It was dangerous! However seh stopped in her tracks. What if he had left? After she had agreed...No, he wouldn't...would he?
She continued her treck, but the force was gone, and her wings were slightly limp. He better be somewhere in the maze she adored so much. He better not have run off...Not with Ka about, and possibling in a bad mood...She sighed.

Tahmores flicked an ear as he heard the echoing sound of hooves somewhere in the many hallways the cave had. He raised his head up slightly, knowing that Yi was looking for him. He pinned his ears back against his skull, knowing that he was going to be scolded for wandering.
He couldn't help it, though. He needed to do something other than spend the many hours he was alone in their sleeping quarters. Sighing, he let his hoof fall on the ground, letting the slight sound echo out of the room. Shaking his head, he lifted a hindleg and decided to test something out. Carefully, he kicked out at the wall behind him, causing a loud ringing sound to echo out of the room. Hearing it fade away slightly, he kicked the wall again, hoping that it might echo out towards Yi, indicating his location.

The noise reached her ears and she quickly was off, following the douns, easily manuvering through the passage ways. Peice of cake! She Stopped in the entry way of the room that held the stallion. "What are you doing here!" she half yelled, unable to control the worry she had feltand the relife she now felt, from leeking into her voice. "You were told to keep to the sleeping quartes and not wander! you could have easily died here." She was shaking lightly, with what it wasn't clear. Anger, or fear....
She snroted and turned. "Fine, if thats what you want then do ahead and completly ignore me. I show concern, i set down rules, allowing you to sleep with me, safely, and how am i repaied?" She snorted and started to leave. "For somone who says they care you ovbiously don't think of my feelings before acting now do you?"

Tahmores heard the familiar sound of Yi's hooves heading towards the little room, his body already tensed up, ready for the long lecture he had in store for wandering. Hearing her stop in the entranceway, he didn't bother looking at her as she started talking to him.
He knew he had done something wrong. He heard the concern in her voice and knew that he had worried her again. bobbing his head slightly, he heard her turn around and then the sound of hooves leaving the room. Slowly, he started to follow her, his head held down low. "Sorry, Yi," he said in a soft voice.

"Sure you are. Why do you insist on tormenting me so? I accually care about somone, worry about them, and i am only given more things to worry over? It makes no sense." She snorted again.
"Nevermind. Your first lesson about being one of the higher class is in order." She looked at him as she led him to a large room. Your first lesson is about your behaviour." She moved to be faceing him. "And how you come across to others because of said behavoir, understand?"

Tahmores winced slightly at her words. He didn't mean to make her worried about him. In fact, he meant nothing more than to please her everyday that he stood by her side.
Carefully, he walked into the room with her and gazed up as she spoke of his first lesson. He held back another wince. he knew this was coming sooner or later. He nodded his head slightly, understanding what she was saying. "Yes, Yi."

"Good. Now, Relax and stand as you would normally in a group of Jala you did not know." She instructed. She knew she had alot of work to do. She had been preparing for the role since she was born, he, however, had not and needed to be groomed up into the role he would have to play in as short of tme as possible. She couldn't go missign for to long without things happening. Then she wold need to consult her mother about him beeing offically part of the herd. If he was going to stick around, be with her, he needed to be in her herd, there was no other option. At first it was fine but if it was to stay long term...he couldnt expect to help her rule as an outsider...

Tahmores carefully followed Yi's instructions. He stiffened his posture slightly, but not to the point where he was stiff-legged. He let his tail droop down near his hindlegs as he carefully raised his head up slightly, not too high, yet not too low. He flicked his ears forward and gazed at Yi with a curious expression on his face. He hoped that he got the posture right.

She shook her head as she moved around him. SHe nudged at his wings. "Hold them up higher, slightly parted like this." SHe demonstrated, her wings lifted upward, parted a little, giving her an impressive look, one of royalty. "You head should be high, proud. After all you are not some little scardy cat, you are a proud memeber of out breed." She nudged his head lightly. "As should your tail. Lift it so it has a rounded hump that the hair flows from like a water fall." She moved back in front of him. "Tho your expression, vary nice. Look alert, even if your not, and never un welcoming. Curiousity is always a pleasing thing. Most will take it as a good thing, like you do care who they are, weather or not you do. Now, again, this time like i told you."

tahmores watched her carefully as she pointed out his flaws in his stance. He tried hard to see past them and tried to take them as improvements towards making him into a better Jala. He relaxed his body for a few seconds, taking in everything he had heard her say before taking the stance again, this time correcting his simple errors. He kept the same body posture as before, yet he held his head higher, lifted his tail up and spread out his wings, a little higher than his body, and parted like Yi had shown him. He flicked an ear slightly as a small gnat landed on it, yet he kept them still after that. He then finished it with the same curious gaze, a small smile gracing his maw.

She smiled and nuzzled his cheek lightly, quickly. "Vary good. And because of your natural air you don't seem intimidating. In fact you seem nicer then i have tried to look." She laughed a little. "Next, how would you greet somone, Tahmores? Weather they walked up or you." She was glad he caught of quick. But a simple imitation would not last long. She would have to give him quizes to see if he could do it on his own without it looking fake.

He hesistated slightly at the next statement Yi said. This one was going to be tougher than the first task. Sure, he did meet quite a few Nequus in his travels, yet he was just a commoner. Now he had to greet them like he was royalty. He kept quiet for a few tense moments before he turned to Yi, as if she was the Nequus he was greeting. He bobbed his head slightly and smiled a little wider. "Good day. I'm Tahmores. It's a nice day, isn't it?"

"Vary good. A few minor things, try, instead of "Its a nice day", useing "Wonderful weather we're having, don't you think?" And mabye add on a casual. "And how are you today?" or "I hope things have been well." Always make sure they think you care about them. The better they like you the easier it is to rule without seeming like a tyrant." Yi said, smiling and nodding, glad he had gotten that right. "THo that would do better with more, lower class royals or citizens. How would you greet my mother?" she asked, a bit curious. He would have to meet her at some point and she prefered if he could do it in a decent fasion. She wanted her mother to step down and showing off a stallion who was obviously unfit to help rule was not somthign taht would help.

He took note of the many phrases Yi said to him, wondering if he would indeed make a good mate to her. It was going to be hard trying to impress the other herd members once she did become queen and announced that he was her mate, but he was up to the challange.
Hearing her ask how he would greet her mother, he canted his head to one side. That one was going to be tough. He hadn't seen the queen yet, so it was hard to visualize what she looked like. He imagined a tough mare who had a sharp tongue and a stiffened posture. 'Terrible visualization,' he thought to himself. Next he began to think of things to say to her.
"Good morning, milady," he said, his voice full of confidence as he bowed down to an empty area in the room. "Lovely weather we are having, don't you agree?" He canted his head to one side and resisted pawing at the ground.
