WOAHSHIT. A FIC CONTEST.
Yep, a fic contest. About.... you guessed it, HS. Don't remember what that is? Y'know... that webcomic... over there...
Okay, the general description: Write a story about anything that has anything to do with any HS character. Wow, 4 to choose from. Variety!
How long should it be? I was going to say short, but since I highly doubt anyone would hand in a 40 chapter story, I'll say make it as long or as short as you need it to be. But remember that it's quality, not quantity.
PRIZE
I... like prizes. I'm sure other people like prizes as well. The prize is this highly prized VESPA mini-poster! Courtesy of Cafepress! Or just where I stuck it cause I needed a way to show what it was!
CHECK ME OUT
I could give you gaia stuff too, if you want it.
RULES
Rules! Of course we need rules! You're not allowed to break them or I'll break you!
1. No crossovers I like crossovers, but... no.
2. No original characters. The only exception I'll allow for this is Jay's sister. She counts as an HS character, but she doesn't have a name or background. If you really want to use her, you can make it all up.
3. You must have at least semi-intelligible grammar. Seriously. Just run it through spell-check or something. If I can't read it, there's a problem. Comma splices and run-on sentences also get on my nerves.
One rather important thing that Clover mentioned to me: sex scenes. You are welcome to write them if you reeeeaally want to, but please remember that... I'm kinda picky about them. If they're badly written, it'll count against you.
Uh... that's probably it...
The ending date for this contest is SATURDAY, JUNE 30. That gives... a bit more than a month? Should be enough, right?
Entries should be emailed to me. My email is pyro.jack@gmail.com Please make sure the subject has something to do with "fic contest" so I don't accidently delete it. WEUT.

Ello... um, I was just wondering, on the off-chance I manage to write something that doesn't make me cringe, and then actually send it in - is it okay if I make up the characters' backgrounds a little? Not actually having the parents or whatever, but say I want Metis to be living alone, and therefore have an off-hand comment about him moving out for whatever familial reason [making this up as I go along, yes]... is it okay if I refer to the family, though they're not actually part of the story?
... Or, to try and put it in fewer words: Is it okay to make up their backgrounds? Cos, well, we don't know much about them, right? - unless I'm completely missing some link somewhere that will tell me everything about the boys from the time they were born till now... -.- and if I have missed something really obvious like that?... let me know and ignore this. *wouldn't put it past herself*
