Well this summer seems to be the summer of movies. I would say the summer of "good" movies but as the saying goes "Don't count your chickens till they hatch." Shall we just go with "highly anticipated movies"?
Some high profilic movies coming out (or already have):
Spiderman 3 Shrek 3 Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Ocean's 13 Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Transformers Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix The Bourne Ultimatum Rush Hour 3 Stardust
Most of these are all almost sequels. The only exceptions are Transformers and Stardust (which I just put on the list because I'm excited about it). So any summer movies you can't wait to see? Or you have seen? What did you think? How do you think they'll do? Or got any more to add to the list?

Spiderman 3 - excited for it until it came out Shrek 3 - meh Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - Was pretty awful. Ocean's 13 - Oh, hells ya Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - please god, wasn't one enough? Transformers - Is going to rape my childhood of any happiness it may have had Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - looks pretty sweet. Also, based on my favorite book in the series. The Bourne Ultimatum - They're still making these? Really? Rush Hour 3 - I guess Chris Tucker needs to support whatever vice he has. Stardust - Never heard of it. Is it about Ziggy?
So all in all, I'm probably going to enjoy 2/10 of those movies. I already saw PotC3 and that was a mistake.

No. Stardust is based on a book by Neil Gaiman (who wrote the movie- MirrorMask and several top selling books, and the award winning comic Sandman). So far I've only seen Shrek 3. There are some on those lists I probably won't go see.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (<- Saw it) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Stardust
I CAN'T WAIT FOR HARRY POTTER. They are releasing it 2 days ahead of schedule. So it's coming out on the 11th instead of the 13th!
I also must say that I LOVE Neil Gaiman's stories. I think he's a creative genius. I just hope that they make his story Neverwhere into a movie. That would be the best ever.
I saw POTC3 and it was all I expected it to be and more. I love Johnny Depp and anything he's in I must see.(Lol @ my fandom) I loved the unexpected ending and all the battle sequences were kick-a**. Sadly I heard some rumours about them replacing Johnny w/ Tom Cruise. gonk You have no idea how disheartened I was at the moment I read that even though I highly doubt it's true.

Masquanade Well this summer seems to be the summer of movies. I would say the summer of "good" movies but as the saying goes "Don't count your chickens till they hatch." How do you think they'll do? Or got any more to add to the list? Let's see there is Nancy Drew, was better than expected. I have seen three movies on the list and I'm going to read Stardust before it comes out, looks interesting. I finished Harry Potter 5 about a month ago and have to say, it was really good, excellent in fact. Have no clue why they made a second F$ movie, the first one sucked. I'm not going to see Transformers or Spidermann 3, although I have to say that Ocean's Thirteen was better than expected too, better than Twelve but nothing will beat Eleven. I'm one of those people who went to see potc 3 at eight o'clock with my friend, we absolutly loved it. I think it's one of those movies where some people love it and some people hate it, no in between. At least that what it sounds like in my town.

SpiderMan 3- Saw it, it was hilarious, but probably not meant to be.
PotC 3- Saw it, I enjoyed it. Ridiculous confusion. Keith Richards looking like Captain Hook.
I'm looking forward to Harry Potter, yes, the shameful dork in me.
I'm especially looking forward to Stardust. I still haven't read anything by Neil Gaiman, but I've been meaning to for sometime. Besides, MirrorMask was amazing and gorgeous. Valentine = a favorite character of mine.

There weren't too many movies on that list I wanted to see. I did see Shrek 3, and although it's an animated film, it was better than the second one, but not the first. Spider-Man 3 was pretty good. I didn't like the ending. Last but not least, I made fun of people for wanting to see Transformers, but I saw it and it's actually a pretty good movie.
