Manga, because her character is more developed and she takes on much bigger roles than she does in the anime.

Of course she will as long as she lives through the end of the series!

I stongly believe that Ed and Winry are meant for each other. heart *hides from rabid yaoi fans* No! EdRoy and EdAl are hot too! EdWin's just my OTP!!! gonk

Changes in Winry's character as the story in the anime (movie included) and manga progresses.
Winry gets WAY more mature in the anime by the time the movie comes around. In the manga, I think that Winry's always been more mature than in the anime. However, Winry is currently learning a lot more about herself, the past, and Amestres's dark future. I think she's handling it quite well.

All-in-all, do you think Winry was a character that contributed to the story and/or helped in the lives of other characters?
Yes! She gave Ed an arm and leg, is a good role model for Elicia, Helped Paninya out (and is still friends with her), encourages Ed and Al to do the right thing and keep moving forward, and is currently trying to help the Elric's by following them on their hunt for Mei-chan and Scar.

It's neutral. I didn't like her that much in the beginnig, but i'm starting to like her a little more now that her character is more develpoed. I think the reason I don't like her that much is 'casue she reminds me too much of myself. I would hate to have a friend like me.

Winry's fashion sense?
A bit slut-ish. Her normal work clothes, and her miniskirt-jacket outfit. Too much. She should at least wear a shirt over her tiny little tube tops.

Manga! Anime!Winry is whiny, mean, and braggy. She really annoys me. Manga!Winry however is easier to like^^

I don'y know, and don't really care. Probably.

Ed Elric. Definetely. Arakawa-sensei's already majorly hinted it. You can't read the manga and think that they won't end up together. It's impossibe.

Well, she made/makes Ed's arm and leg already right? And i don't think she can wait any longer for Ed and Al to complete their quest. I think she's going to start journeying (is that a word?) with them. She already has, actually.

Yes! OK, this is omething that really bugs me: when people say stuff like, "Ed couldn't get by without Win becasue she makes his automail. I'll grant her, she's a good friend. But Ed and Al could definetely get by without her. Pinako would've made Ed's automail in the beginning, and if Pinako can't convientely travel out to fix Ed's automail, he could've easily found a good mechanic in Central. Win's not just a mecahnical genius people! She could have easily been a non-mechanical junkie, but still would've given Ed and Al a lot of support.

In the anime, she wore the same outfit over and over and over again... D: But in the manga, I love her clothing. It's so cuute~ And decently fashionable for the 1900's. o__O;

Manga. (Like everyone else?) Yea, the whole world's already said it: She's got a way bigger role and actually seems to have a part in the story. In the anime, she was just sort of... there.

Indeed, I do. Well, maybe not world-renowned. But renowned. You know what I mean? Winry is the type to totally plug her Automail (XD), but I don't think being well-known throughout the world would even be something she'd want.

Well, she's already admitted it. xD

I think Ed x Winry is cute (I admit it, okay?), but I'd totally go for Al x Winry any old day. Of course, you can all guess why. (The yaoi! It consumes me!) But do I think she'll get married? Well, maybe some day. D: They're a little young for that now, ne?

I found Winry's character to be a little static in the anime. That might have been because, really, we didn't see her very often, either. But still, I felt that she had this same feeling that she had to wait and wait for eternity and forever or whatever. D:

In the manga, Winry waited for them to come back the first time, but now she refuses. xD Like I said, we all love strong girls, and I just thought it was uber-cool that Winry is refusing to stay put anymore. <33

UmYES. xD I think it was Rekki who said that Ed'd pretty much be a little lost without Winry there. And also, he wouldn't have an arm and leg. And that would make the whole ordeal of joining the military/ performing alchemy/ walking around aimlessly a little difficult.

Jokes aside, I think Winry is really shaping up as a character, and so it would be a real shame if she were just tossed aside as if she wasn't there at all.
