They are under Pop/rock. But they, to me are more like just simply rock music.
Ever heard of the song "listen to your heart"? It was re-done by someone else, but Roxette did the original. Another re-done song by another group that was originally done by Roxette was It must have been love.
Other songs that Roxette did were:

Joyride
Silver Blue
Queen of Rain
Fading like a flower
Stars
Knockin on every door
The Big L
Wish I could fly
Sleeping in my car
Crash Boom Bang
There are so many songs that Roxette did.
They are a 90's group.
