I'm not entirely sure if it matter, Earth has been doomed for a long time. We have used up a lot of our resources and I don't think there's any way, short of killing our "civilization," which I don't think people are willing to give up. Electricity, houses, roads... they all make our lives more comfortable and help to destroy Earth and its creatures, the creatures that really matter aren't humans, but we think we are the best...
I went a bit off topic... I tend to rant a lot >.<.

people care more about their comfort now than they care about their grandkids being able to breathe in 30 years.
