((This is a private RP between Neokitsune and Myself. Please do not post unless asked. )) ---------------------------- Kohane twirled slowly, one leg held up towards her body, the other forcing the rest of herself into the motion. She was silent, entire concentration dedicated to this sole manoveur. She was just finishing up her little "training and practice" that she did every day. She loved it, dancing about and being herself, even though when she had been a pup, she had been the entire opposite. That was the past and this was the present. Halting, her raised foot setting on the ground she breathed deeply and looked around in search for something to drink. Practicing always made her thirsty.

As was normal, Nicabar was up to his elbows in stolen gems and shinies from other numa and from all over numa land in general. He had been collecting them all since he'd been a pup and now that his collection was getting larger and larger he realized that he was going to need a new place to start putting them all.
Standing slowly so that his back creaked just a little bit, Nicabar's bangles tinked together, dancing slightly as he moved. The theif wanted to go and find something else to steal, wanted to go and find another shiny thing.
Looking down at all the ones he'd collected this far, Nicabar pulled up a necklace and put it around his neck for his own amuzement. After all, why collect them if not to use them every once in a while?
With that done, Nicabar trotted off towards the water in the hopes of finding something to drink and then to dive down and find another shiny thing. The water always had shiny things hidden deep down within it, always had some things of use. Whether it was a sunken ship or just something an unwitting numa dropped by accident. ninja

Kohane bent down to scoop up some of the soda that flowed through the small stream she had found near her. She gluped the fruity liquid with amazing speed, which was hardly lady-like though she really sisn't care. Thrist came far before ettiquite.
Her long pink ears twitched slightly at a sound, the faint tinkling or jewelry, probably bracelets. She glanced up, wondering who it could be that would be headed toward this spot. Not many numas knew of this place.

A scent flitted into his nostrils that made Nicabar all but gag, the stench of the Grape Soda River. The most disgusting body of water he could think of. Why anything would want to drink or swim or even laze around or in that thing Nica could hardly begin to guess.
The first time he'd been in there he'd felt like his gills were burning on contact and his eyes had watered up in pain from how much it stung. Didn't every male feel that? Or was he just a freak like that?
Glaring at the river, something slid into his sight. Something.... pink.
"Kohane..." The name came from his muzzle in exhasperation. What was his little sister doing drinking from that stinkpit? Not only would it stain that pretty pink fur of her's but... it was disgusting. "What're you doing out here near this... monstrosity?"
Nicabar didn't really want to get any closer to that river, but he had to admit that he wanted to get his sister from it. If he had to he'd go over there, fling her over his shoulder, and remove her from it's horrid grasp that way. Though only if he had to. ninja

Kohane blinked and stopped, lighting herself up to look around. Had she just heard her name? It had certainly sounded like it and the voice who had said it certainly sounded familiar...Nica?
She turned her head, searching for the tell-tale orange that was the coat of her brother. She hadn't been able to tell if his voice was close or fr. Her workout had taken enough out of her for that. Oh, dear, if Kimmie ever found that fact out...
"Monstrosity?" She repeated, dark-pink eyes searching, "I was thirsty and this was something that could assuage it. What more could I ask?" Defiant? Certainly not; she was merely stating something that should have been quite plain. She wasn't particularly fond of grape in general, but that didnt prevent her from drinking it when she was thirsty.

Walking up and making a semi-circle around her to look down at her and frown at the stain to her muzzle and paws, Nicabar sighed and turned his head to gaze loathingly at the soda river beside them. Up close it was far worse than he'd ever imagined, this must have been why he always skirted it before he could smell it, it was rank.
"There must be a better source of liquid you could drink from. I mean... there HAS to be." Nica cast a glance back at her through the corner of his gray eye. "After all, why stain your pretty fur with this stuff if you don't have to? I'm sure you'd have lived if you hadn't drank out of this stink-pit and waited just a few minutes to get to actual water."
Seating himself down on the minty grass, Nicabar proceeded to toss large chunks of chocolate rocks into the river like the child he could be, attempting to insult the river... or some other insanely stupid thing that he would never admit to his sister. It was hard to tell exactly what he was up to. His mother probably would have deigned that he was adorable, his father might have laughed, but he was sure that his siblings would be confused and that was the only thing that got under Nicabar's fur.... It had always been the only thing to get on his nerves... ninja
