So both accounts would have to be registered under my name?

Yup. ALL the info has to be the same, even billing info. Of course, you can change all this after the transfer is complete. I did it from a friend's account to my account with my warrior. It took a few days to come into effect (pretty sure they have to do it manually), and it costs $25 or something like that. Your character will still be on the same server, but wont have the friendslist, ignore list, and you might not be in your guild anymore.

You get removed from your guild when you transfer accounts.

I have no clue in this, so I'll ask for my cousin's sake. Do you know how to pay Blizzard $25 for character transfer servers when you pay by game card?

I'm not sure, I use the pay by credit card thing. Try asking in the official WoW community forums.

Quote: Currently we only accept payment by credit card (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa) for these transactions. From the FAQ, read it. razz

My boyfriend got his druid from transferring from his brother's account. It has to be the same last name. All their billing info was different but it still went in effect. It was kind of a cool thing considering it's not pretty much his tanking character.
