I have been wondering for some time now what people fealt was better. Do you think manga or anime is better please explain why you think so if you have the time.
I personally like manga more most of the time due to the depth of the detail on the art and storyline streangth seems stronger to me in manga than in anime.

Sometimes anime is better, and other manga is better. If you want a good look at details in what's happening, then you read the manga, but if you want to see the action as it unfolds, and get to know a character's true personality, you have to watch the anime. A good example is Naruto. I got into it through the manga, and the manga has a few things in it the anime doesn't. By watching the anime of Naruto though, I got to see the actualy fights, which are a lot more intense that in the manga. I also realized the characters personalites better. I thought that Chouji was a jerk in the manga, but he's not bad at all, he's actually one of the nicest people in it.

In Canada (where me live, well a certain province to be specific) there's a limited amount of anime and teh anime we do have is of limited likings sweatdrop . Right now for anime we have a bunch of confusing DragonBall Z series ranging from DragonBall and some DragonBall GT or something, tooo many confusing useless Yu-gi-oh flicks that have gone on too long with too many meaningless plot twists, One Piece (at 6 in teh morning), thrown in with some Inu-yasha, Hack for like 2 weeks, Witch Hunter Robin for like 1 month, a short flick of teh western CyberSix, cardcaptors, some Gudam Wing, Sailor Moon, Escaflowne (cancelled years ago because it was too violent) and the odd questionable flick like Beyblades, Pokemon and little mini flicks that last half a month. stressed
Anime (well itleast in the western world so far I've seen) really screws up the voices and they remake it in such a way that it's so annouying. They change plots to discurage violence and homosexuality<--(example: Cardcaptors, Sailor Moon) And they don't last long. We're getting Shaman King in September. -_-"

I like them both. Manga because you read it and the drawings are great and anime because you get to hear and see what the characters do.

I must admit that Cowboybebop the movie was pretty funny and I liked how animated Ed. I love anime just not as much as manga...well actually both but manga is portable n_n. Some anime is really well done liek Inu yasha <3. weeeee.

Personally i like em both, and if i can i like to read it from the manga and watch from the anime view for any series esp. if i really like it, but since Anime is hard for me to come by except from the Few on Adult Swim i probably end up reading the manga first...

Most of the time I like manga better than an anime, but there are a few anime that I like better than some manga.

Both, always both. If I'm home, I read manga and watch anime. When I'm away, I read manga and watch anime on my laptop. It hardly ever matters what it is, it's always ALWAYS both.

I think anime is better for shonen-style stuff, like sci-fi and action, and manga is better for shoujo-type stuff, like romance. In other words, anime is good for fights and stuff, so that you can just watch it without thinking too much about it, but when something's really deep, it's a better manga because manga you don't have to rewind to look back if you want to keep re-reading the same frame, whether out of admiration for the words or the art. Rewinding over and over can get annoying.

I prefer manga because it's easier for me to get. My mom just brings it home from work. (She's a librarian) But I do watch anime.

I pefer manga better, then the anime series that are based on the manga. Even though the Anime is based of the Manga, it always seems to slip off the Manga, into some weird story line of stupid things...
Sine Anime are ok, but I still pick Manga over Anime (Plus manga are cheaper too xp )
