background: when he first came to the soul society he challanged the 10th squad captain to a duel and said whoever wins is captain of the squad (thinking as kenpachi did). he accepted knowing that tk wouldn't be captain ethier way,tk won and took his vest,and thought he was the captain, not knowing that there was someone else to be captain who was also his childhood rival Hitsugaya Toushirou. disipointed he went to leave the soul society but on his way out azien souske seen him and brang him too his squad and made him the 3rd seat be cause he know he had the power of a hollow, i few months later after kisuke left the soul society he left looking for how to control the hollow power.he found the vaizards and went to go train with shinji and hiyori.
