OK I am goth (duh) My Boyfriend, however, is prep... We will have been going out for two months on May 22. I hate his Abercrombie, He hates my Hot Topic....Anyone else having this problem?????? its not really that bad until we go shopping rolleyes
I'd love to hear your stories!!!!

Hum...I dated a guy a time ago that was jock...He was just stupid. Shopping was no problem cuz he was...just not all there. I think he played football too much...Or was it baseball...? w/e.

Hahaha!! Well, I'm afraid I myself have never had this problem... Both me and my boyfriend are such Jacks-of-all-trades that even when we don't agree on something we fill in eachother's gaps... Never had a fight... then again I've never even had a fight with my parents. sweatdrop (I'm such a weird teenager! crying )
Anyway... the thing that always works for me is to simply be patient. So you guys don't agree on everything- that's just a typical relationship. When you really love someone you come to love everything about them, even if it was something that annoyed you at first at the begining of a relationship. Endure through the perilous shopping tortures, wink be patient with your differences. Neither one of you should have to change for the other.

I wouldn't have that problem....
My small town is full of preps. Very few goths (all of them girls) and all the preppy boys are afraid of me and my dark nature. Basically there are no datable guys in this town for me. It sucks so hard living in a small town!

I dated alot out of my scene when i was younger, mostly due to the fact that i lived in a small town and had maybe three other goths in the county to chose from. but i never had an issue with any of my GFs clothing choices or music tastes, i accepted that as part of dating outside my circle. then i moved to the City and got all the goth, metal and punk chicks.
