I just saw issue 381 in the Borders at Greensboro, NC! That's the first time in YEARS I've seen it in a bookstore--even a comic shop! xd Any one else (outside the UK, obviously) finding it in the bookstores?

If I only knew that before why couldn't you have found that out in 2005

Is there not a Borders near where you live now--or some other big bookstore like Barnes & Noble with a really good magazine section? In 2005 this Borders definately didn't carry the magazine, though they did get the BBC Books novels. This is a brand new development.

Well that's fantastic! Cause I have a Borders about 15 minutes away from where I live. And my mom works really close to a HUGE Barnes and Noble..
Though not a single bookstore in the town I live in... emo

Yeah, no bookstores here, either. It's about 20 minutes to a Borders either side of me though, in Chapel Hill or Greensboro. I need to see if the Chapel Hill one is carrying it now....

yeah.. Our local comic book shop carries it for the small-ish scifi nerd community here. Actually I think that might have started because we kept special ordering it and then the guy that runs that shop started getting into Who.. but I'm usually fuzzy on those kinds of details.

There used to be a pretty strong Who society up there, around St. Louis. They printed 'zines & held cons & all that. I wonder if it's still there, & how many of the members are still around? If there are a fair number still in the state, it should help getting the publications in the bookstores.

Here in Dallas the chances of meeting a fellow DW fan are slim to none, and if you find one they're rarely from the area.
