Brook dark orbed in with Austin in her own seperate room of the hideout. "You should be safe here." She said, looking around the room. It'd been a while since she'd been here obviously. There was still a picture of her and Austin together sitting on the dresser and several band posters on the walls. It was like an old bedroom. She couldn't believe it'd been so long since she was here.

Austin noticed the picture of him and her and blushed. "Well, uh. Thanks for the hideout. I think its safe to say they cant find me here. As far as I know there's no darklighters working for the Agency, and the only other darklighter working for shadow was Samantha, but she's dead."
He paused. "Ive got the demon agency, the dicio coven, and Shadow out to get me........I'm screwed!" He flopped down on the bed, ((I'm assuming theres a bed)) and half laughed.

She sat down on the chair. "Shadow isn't after you, not anymore anyway." She told him, simply. At least that was the impression she'd been under after the talk she had with Katana. "The dicio coven at this point is Dan and he's too distracted to realize anything that's going on around him, besides if the world doesn't distract him, I can." She said, simply as she picked up the picture of her and Austin and surveyed it.
"And Gaias destroyed most of the agency. So there's only Andrew, himself and several other agents." Brook told him, her eyes on the picture. "Do you remember when this was taken?" She asked, showing him the picture.

He smiled. "Yeah, I remember. It was the day we slaughtered our first coven together." He was standing next to her at this point. "See, you still had blood on your hands." He realized what he was saying, and that he was good now, so he gave a cough and sat back on the bed.
((They where an evil power couple. Its the only thing I could think of.))

She smiled slightly and shook her head. She realized he was good now as well. "I betcha that'll never happen again." She said, putting the picture back down on the night stand and sat down on the chair. "Life has most definatly changed us." She said, looking back down at the floor.

"Oh yea, because I had such an impact on your life that you chose to work for Shadow over me." She told him, weakly. It could've been taken as a negative comment, but Austin should've known better. This was her way of protecting herself, turning everyone away.

Austin sighed. "I guess it wont hurt to tell you now." He was slowly pacing the room. "I...I never wanted to work for Shadow. He forced me. He said he'd kill you if I didnt, and plus, since I knew he was resurfacing, I knew I needed to stay on his side to keep us both out of the line of fire."

Brook could've kissed him once the impact of those words hit, but remained seated, only putting on the slightest of smirks. She waited a few moments and regained her composure. "Why did you quit and work for the agency then?" She asked, softly.
A lot of things were starting to make sense now, and he'd been trying to protect her.

Austin blushed, this time from embarrasment. "I, uh, well...I didnt actually, uh quit, persay...I was more of, uh.....................vanquished." He gave an embarrased smile. "My ghostly half was able to lead itself out of the ghostly plane, but since I was vanquished, my evil side went to the wasteland. I dont even have all of my old powers anymore. But hey, it got me a job...at...the......oh. Well, you know."

Brook nodded. "Yea, I know. Any idea on Gaias' weaknesses, because until he's proven to be the traitor and vanquished, you're guilty of being a traitor to those left in the agency." She told him, moving on to something that needed to be discussed rather than the past.

"But for the time being, I still have to convince Dan that I am good. Therefore I walk the line of doing what I want and justifying it with the fact that I'm actually supposed to be good." She told him, simply. She was always one for bending and breaking rules.
"Don't worry. I'm not going to betray you." She told him, glancing at him skeptically.
