Hello everyone... My name is Lin and I'm addicted to Yahtzee.
It started out as a simple weekend activity. My friends called me up one day and told me to bring my dice. It took a little while to explain what Yahtzee was. I spent the majority of this first game watching everyone take turns grabbing their dice, fondling them around with their hands, and throwing them onto the floor. I wasn't completely sure how to play it yet, then someone took hold of my dice.
It was an amazing feeling; the feelings I got when my dice were touched for the first time were simply euphoric. It's like... A heavenly figure was feeding me its celestial nectar. I couldn't get enough. My friend was holding my dice and moving them slowly in his hands before he threw it. That was a shock - I've never felt feelings like that before as I saw each dice land. One, Two, Three, Four, Five... It was a large straight.
My friends told me it was my turn. The friend to my left handed me his dice and told me to be careful - they were valuable. My cheeks flushed as I stared at the five dice he gave me. They were exquisite - made of the best-feeling materials that I've ever touched. They were pretty heavy too - perfect for an all-night game. How I enjoyed caressing the dice around my fingers before throwing them onto the playing board.
You don't know how good it felt... how right it felt... to play Yahtzee. But now... It's taken over my life...

non-electronic games I prefer to play are...
Trivial pursuit because I slowly do better and better despite that game being made for old people.
Life because I don't take that game seriously.
Hungry Hungry Hippos just because.
Cranium and any other games of that sort.
Charades.

The games you've listed are really fun. I enjoy Cranium and Charades as well.
But nothing can beat Yahtzee...

For those who want to know... I have done the Rubik's Cube (3x3) in 2:32 seconds and have done a 4x4 slider puzzle in 2:47 seconds...

As far as non-electronic games goes, monopoly, chess, and pictionary will always hold a special place in my heart. =w=
Monopoly is my all-time favorite, but I scarcely get to play it anymore. Either nobody has the time, nobody wants to play against me in particular (it sounds conceited, but this is what they tell me), or both. I play chess about twice a week with my father. The student has surpassed the master. I think I'm going to join chess club to play a few more people and learn many more tricks. biggrin

Well, I particularly like a good game of chess every once in a while. . . I am not particualrly fond of Monopoly, but I'll play it (and if my friends are being jackasses about my rotten luck I'll rob the bank. =.=). I also love to play card games! I love poker, maybe cuz I'm greedy and have the secret desire to send my family home in with nothing, but the cloths on their back. . . xd

Let's see what kinda single-roll I can manage! Saverio C. I'm kicking you from the IRC on principle when I see you.Don't make me deop you for abusing your powers, Sav. You know I will, and you know I know how! (blatant over reaction for minor comedic effect, for those who wondered, before anyone gets offended. Kals is coming down off her post-op painkillers and is in a strange state of mind these days) EDIT: Awww man that was a crappy roll! I'd have to go for the twos because everyone knows it's stupid to roll to an inside straight.
