SO! I want to open the first Zutara contest of our guild!
It'll be a simple contest, with three winners in two categories.
Info:
Contest runs for 25 days.
* Begin: 22nd of May 2007
* Finish: 17th of June 2007
* Results announced:
* No entry fee
* All forms and styles are welcomed, if you are not sure ask me.
* No limit on number of entries
* One entry can win one prize, multiple entries can win multiple prizes.
* I will accept late entries if you send the your work in progress before end date, then you
get a 7 day extension during judging time.
* You may PM me regarding any contest questions at all, in fact please do!
* No stealing of artwork

First place: One Zutara drawing of the winner's choice
Second place: One chibi Zutara drawing of the winner's choice
Writing first place: One scene of the winner's choice of his entry
All drawings will be done by me Pinumbra.

Two categories: Art and writing.
simple as that. While art has two winners writing has only one, but the prize is bigger, I hope you all don't mind.

The theme for this contest is (besides being Zutara) "hands"
All media is accepted, I will not prefer any specific style or media, so go wild!

Judging Criteria and Entries
I will be judging all entries based on the following things:
* Quality: pose, colouring, details and effort
* Mood: how the piece affects me :3
* Originality: Don't just trace the reference pictures, or even copy the style of the reference pictures, I'd love to see everyone bring something new and unique to the characters.
* writing: style and grammar
