well some of you might of experianced this before, have you ever put your bass against a wall and turned around for a second and then you heard a weird srcaping sound, you turn back and you find your bass turning sideways...fallling,But you catch it just in time.
Has anything like this happened to you?

Yeah thats happened to me before
And once I was leaning it against the wall and the body part was resting between my feet and I had my hand on the neck so it wouldn't go anywhere. WRONG! I turn my head for one second and the bass crashes to the floor!

not the wall one but I've seen it happen, I only lean it in a corner if its touching a wall at all. now I have a stand. as for the strap it happens when I play with my friend's strap all the time but never fail to catch it fast reflexes. I lift up my right knee because its directly under the body, and catch with the hand. Though I haven't caught it that way I do that most of the time. I've also caught it by the strings and gripping my left hand so it only swings down not hit the floor.

I'm so in touch with my bass I can here him crying out as he's about to fall. And as a lot of other people have mentioned I hate it when my strap gives way and my bass falls. Never let that happen when you're barefoot, it hurts like hell!
