Szálka was wandering outside of her packs territory to bide time. It was another few nights before she would preform the bones purifying ceremony and she was feeling bored. She sat herself down next to a tall aspen and she opened her maw, letting ancient words flow out in long, melodic verses. Her song was haunting and beautiful. All the birds and woodland creatures were stilled as sthey became quiet and listened.
Szálka wailing grew louder as she entered the second chorus, her notes growing longer and the keys changing to make the peice more harmonious and less haunting, but haunting still. Szálka would stay out here another day perhaps, then go back to the pack, she did, afterall, need to hunt for herself, she refused to let Irons think she was so weak she couldn;t even hunt for herself. She was the daughter of the last alpha, she had been one of the stronger pups... Her song continued but grew softer, gradually.

[Victor - Liam - Kai Mikael - Runeh - Riley]
"Baah, why did you have to come along?" Mikael complained as he stalked through the ferns, a look of irratation on his face. He didn't understand why Victor had told him to bring Kai along. He was perfectly capable of hunting on his own or simply with his twin's help-he did not need Kai there. Fore he was really more of a liablity then a help.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to cause any trouble," Kai sighed, his ears flicking back apollogetically. He knew he wasn't a hunter-he honestly hated the practice. But Victor always insisted he do it once and a while, to keep his skills sharp in case he was left on his own or something happened. That way he could care for himself. But...he always prefered to go with Victor or Liam. Vic was more understand and Liam was just...indifferent. Mikael just made things harder then it had to be.
Runeh trailed along behind them, appearing rather bored. He much prefered fights between Riley and his twin instead of pansy Kai. They were more interesting. He paused, turning his head as a singing reached his ears. It sounded very odd. Thinking perhaps this could spice things up he murmured, "Hey Mikael...I bet whoever is singing that is impossible to find..."
"Wha? Nothing's impossible for me!" Mikael huffed. "Come on! I'll show you exactly where that's coming from!" And he set off, following the sound just as Runeh had expected.

Szálka lean back against the slender aspen as she lay down and continued to sing. Then the sound of running paws reached her ears. Her eyes flickered closed and her ears pointed forwards. She felt the pressence of three wolves nearby. Her curiosity sparked and she rolled onto her front paws, staring out expectantly to the direction the sound was coming from, her singing grew a bit louder, as if trying to pull the wolves in.
In Szálka's case, curiosity was usually bad. More often then not, she lured very dangerous creatures to her and often had to send them into trances to escape. She wasn't sure about the intentions of those she heard, but she had a very good feeling they, or msot of them, were canine, like her. Her topaz eyes were clouded and her sight impaired, but impaired sight for her was no problem. Her eyes were oddly focused, for being so cloudy, like she could see more clearly this way?
