Announcements: From Ruby 10/14/05: Chiku and I have been cleaning up the guild once again. A Few threads have been deleted and some innactive members have been deleted. We've decided to keep track of our members with Yuko's journal. I added one more detail to the rules, just to make sure it's spelt out and understood by everyone and no one can say we did not mention it. From T3H Cap'n: I am on the verge of purging the whole guild. scream Just kidding, I won't delete everything, but I will be deleting old threads the next few days, so if you have a thread that is special to you for any reason, leave a post saying so, and I'll spare it. There shall also be a new sub-forum, called "recycle bin", and it's function, while obvious shall be explained upon it's creation. I will also be banning members who inactive and who haven't posted at all. If you know them, and know why they're not posting, please notify them of their upcoming ban, and tell them that as long as they promise to be active, they'll be re-accepted to guild, no questions asked. Summary for the rules: 1. ANYTHING POSTED THAT DOESN'T MEET THE TOS STANDARD WILL BE DELETED AND THE MEMBER CONTACTED AND A POSSIBLE BANNING.We're very serious about this, we've been shut down once and we don't want it to happen again. If you're not sure if it's allowed, PM a MOD first, there's like 9 of us! 2. RESPECT other members, that means no harrassing, flamming, Godmodding, begging, cybering, being racist, discriminating or rude. THIS ALSO INCLUDES MAKING OTHER MEMBERS UNCOMFORTABLE WITH UNWANTED INFORMATION ABOUT YOU.We all have different backgrounds and histories, don't go shooting off your mouth just because you want to. Also keep in mind that we do promote open sexual discussion, we don't want to know the details about how you banged some girl. We'll ban you. 3. We want quality members over quantity so we inforce a strict policy of inviting and interviewing members and voting if we're uncertain.
4. Please, try to limit chatter-box like posts to ensure we don't flood our lil abode with crap. We hate crap and crap will be flushed. This has been a revised edition by Ruby HayashiYuko Yamiyama Hi ya'll! As you welll know, I am the IPG's official mule and acting savings account for all donations to this fine guild we momentarily cannot touch the guild funds so all donations should be made to Koiyuki. If you require money for your quest, please contact my adoptive father, Koiyuki, for permission to jiggle with my insides razz Those of you that are mods, please contact me for my password so you can do whatever it is you need to do, be it make an annoucement or post your most personal problems, and not have it attached to your main account. I hope you'll all make good use of me! heart Yuko-chan heart From Chiku: (9/21/05) 5. Three violations of an IPG rule that is separate from ToS will get you banned from the guild. If you break any ToS rule, we'll report you.We will keep track of the violations, so, as we have emphasized before, if you are not sure about something, ask the mods! We do not need you to make your own personal thread for introduction, because we have an official introduction thread. From Koiyuki: (10/14/05) When you join with the IPG, we expect you to be at least a semi active member of the community. If you have 0 posts to your name within 2 weeks, you will be automatically banned from the IPG, and will not be granted re-entry unless you can explain why you we're inactive within that time. From Chiku: (10/18/05) This is just a request based on what Koi said. Once you join, please first post in the Introduction thread, even if only to say, "I am here", so we can keep track of when people join.

I've got a rule. More of an idea, really. We can let people do their quests here first, if they want to, to get things started. We'll sticky every quest for two weeks. Or, we already have Doomkillwer's Quest thread, we can edit it and sticky it, and have people state their quests there. Then we can use some of the guild money to send them on their way. Nothing too big, but like 500 or 1000g. Of course, we'd have some rules and stipulations, but I'm no good at quest threads. If anyone wants to take that up, it would be cool.

I'm going to delete AA's thread thanking the guild for helping him with his quest but I thought I would keep his kind words here: Alura Astra Thanks to whomever donated or bumped towards my dorky quest to get the red, sexy cap that you see me wearing! Even the good lucks from you guys helped me keep on going and not spending my gold on other stuff and allowed me to save up for my cap! I really appreciate it I do. smile
I want to thank Koiyuki for bumping when he had the chance, and for wishing me luck the way he did. Much love sir, much love! heart
And a big, big thanks to Samsonite, for if it were not for her, I wouldn't have received a few PM's requesting signs for gold. I can't express it by typing really, I just want to give her a big hug and maybe a muffin! Her bumping helped so much it did, I really appreciate that you awesome sexy lady you! *Hugs and kisses forehead* heart heart heart
I suppose, you can thank IPG Members for their support on any levels in this thread. Emotionally, quest wise, anything. I know I owe all of you a lot, since you guys are like family to me, but I had to say thanks to those who helped me with my seemingly hopeless quest first. I love you guys! =D

Threads you should know aboutThis is a post for the new members of the guild, to ensure, as much as possible, that they do not make threads that will clutter up the forum and get them banned from the guild. If you are new to the guild, the first place you should go to post is here. It is an introduction thread. We ask that you post here first so we can get an idea of who you are, even if you do not go into great detail about yourself. Also, please use it if you have been gone for a while and want to explain why you have been gone, so we do not get too many threads of apology for inactivity. This is the Chatter Away Thread. It is where your spam goes. Do not make your own chatterbox-type thread without first asking a mod. The Venting Thread is a thread where you can complain about your life's problems, and also seek advice on matters. So, if you've got a problem that you want to talk about with guild members, do not create your own thread. Ask the mods/suggestion thread. This is where you go if you have a question about the guild and the way it's run, or you want to suggest something for the guild. this is also where you go if you have a complaint about the guild. Do not create your own thread to complain about something in the guild. Your thread will be deleted and your complaint ignored. Other than that, just keep in mind that you shouldn't start threads that would spawn unintellegent discussion without permission. And if you want to start a thread, look through those that already exist to make sure it isn't already there, as this forum is not that big.

Just because it's generally not noticed, and because I'm bored, I will point out that we do have a subforum for roleplaying. It's at the top of the main forum page, or here.

A guide to recommending new members for the IPG.
I realized that this was never properly dealt with, so, I'm using this opportunity to state that members are allowed to vouch for the character and intellect of prospect members. In some cases, we may take your judgement as a reason to overlook the interview/essay process, and just allow the member in if they show interest. However, this will be up to the discretion of the moderators in the guild. If you either (1) have one or more violation of guild rules, barring problems with ToS which will get you banned anyways, (2) are not a regular member or poster in the guild, and seem to be somewhat of a stranger to all the mods, or you are just knew to the guild (3) are someone whose intellectual eligibility we are beginning to doubt, or (4) has shown lack of good judgement in the previous recommendations, then we may disregard your vouch and insist on going through the interview/essay portion anyways.
A bit of specification concerning those whom you would like to recommend.
(1) Generally, we would prefer your tolerant, intellectual friend, who may not be a pervert, over your perverted friend who may not be either tolerant or intellectual. Please don't recommend someone who is perverted, but does not show intellectual aptitude.
Well, I meant to add more to this, but I've blanked out. All and any mods, please feel free to edit this to your chosing.
