Okay, so I just saw my cousin Sarah who is older than me and just visiting from Chicago for the first time in about three years. We only got to talk for a little bit before I had to go off to work.
Sarah: Alright Mike, I'll see you at the cookout tonight? Me: Yeah. I should get off work in time to join the family. Sarah: Great. Have a good day at work. Me: You too.
Brian Regan was right... some people just can't handle the 'you too' phrase.
I'm just trying to get through life without looking like an idiot and it isn't working out too well for me. Please tell me I am not alone? Anyone have any similar situations with the 'you too' phrase?

Last week a vary good friend of mine turned to me and said "Evan, I appreciate every thing you do for me, and I really do love you for it... your a really good friend" ( he may have worded it a little different, but thats about right). And I was so shocked at the sudden caring gratitude, that I looked at him and replayed with 'you too'. sweatdrop
What a horrible way to respond to something that was so obviously hart felt. crying
I tried to make up for it by saying something similarly hart felt the next time I saw him, he seemed happy... xd
