Active Role-players//characters:

Frigg: (9th Symphonia)
Random NPC's: (9th Symphonia and anybody who feels like makin' them!)

User Image The setting is within the grand sanctum of the holy city of Telythia, which is based in the sacred grounds where Yggdrasils branches reach through into Asgard. The chamber is extremely large, more like a city carved into the very branches of Yggdrasil itself.
The place is usually home to elves and faery-folk, with the occasional occurence of other species.
Frigg, the only deity to rule in the open, rules over this holy city, and guards its citizens, but rarely if ever interferes. Many are gathered in the grand sanctum, to greet various beings she has summoned forth to live in Asgard, to help with the oncoming doom she felt would arise soon.User Image

It was a grand ceremony, indeed. It was a rare thing for Frigg to leave her throne-room high in the branches of Yggdrasil, let alone summon forth beings from other realms. Many citizens of Telythia were gathered in the grand sanctum, chattering amongst themselves in anticipiation, wondering what these new beings would look like.

"Could they have eight limbs?"
"Maybe five heads!"
"Don't be stupid, I bet they're normal!"
"Maybe they're...giants!"

The guesses were endless.

Frigg approached the main "stage" area, accompanied by several of the royal guards of Telythia, who stopped at the beginning of it and let her proceed on her own. As she raised her hand forward, all in the crowd grew quiet so she could speak.

"My dear children," she began. Her voice was as pearls slipping off a string, or satin upon satin. "The time grows nigh for the future, that you will have to defend this beloved place in which you reside." She motioned to the area around them.

"Even hiding here, amongst this sacred place, you will not be safe, and you must grow strong. There is an alternate realm to Asgard, which we call 'Midgard'. The beings who live on Midgard are vastly different to you, yet very similar. I will now summon forth those chosen to aid us, for should Asgard fall to this evil that will soon be born, Midgard too will fall, and eventually everything will be consumed, and rot."

The citizens were quiet in thought, intently listening to her wise words.

"Please, welcome them as your brothers and sisters, and treat them kindly, even if they oppose you. We must all raise our swords and shields together."

Frigg placed her hands beneath her chin, clasping her fingers together. She turned, extending her clasped hands high into the air, to where the canopy of the revealed branches of Yggdrasil opened into the night sky. As her fingers unclasped slowly, a small, glowing-white sproud grew from her palm, the leaves unfurling gently. Frigg placed the growing sprout upon the ground, stepping away from it.

It grew and grew, glowing beautifully and serenely, and it became quite enormous. Droplets dripped off its glowing leaves, and as they plitted onto the ground, individual beings formed from them, looking quite....confused, and disoriented.

((This is where you customs-holders and etc come into the story! =O!))

Something with wolf ears materialised on the floor.

"... It has wings?"

Eirene observed the strange creature that had appeared, wondering just what it was. It didn't look like anything she'd seen in all of her seasons.... then again, being Spring, she tended to prefer the activities of flowers and insects to anything bigger than a thimble.

Where one of the droplets had fallen to the floor, dripping, gliding to a rest in the grooves of the marble floor. It began to emit light that slowly took the shape of an elven female. Her beatiful, brown eyes fluttered open as she gazed around, taking in her new surroundings. Tears began to well up in her eyes. She was so confused. Where was she?

She fluttered the slick, dark, raven-colored wings on her back and rose to hover just above the ground. She rubbed the water pooling at her eyes, slightly adjusting her glasses in the process. Her black skirt seemed to float around her, fitting her form nicely. She still had her red top and striped scarf. Everything was still in tackt, even her cute pigtails. She sighed, at least she seemed to be alright.

But glancing around, she noticed she was attracting a lot of attention. Who were these people? Why were they all staring at her? That's when she spotted someone slightly more familiar, at least to the legends about her. "...Frigg...?"

((question, cause I'm curious, are zombies from Nifelheim? xD))

Two small drops swirled and danced with each other before slowly coalecsing into a regal looking female and a cowled male whose body language conveyed the fact that he was responsible for her safety.

"Where... where are we?" Zelda murmured, only her eyes moving as she observed and took in the mass assembly. Though she showed no fear, such a crowd of strangers put her on her guard.

"Stay close to me, Lady," Sheik murmured back, right hand hovering near the weapon at his hip. He was wary, but he didn't feel any hostility from the crowd, only a burning curiosity. "I think we might be safe, but no sense in inviting disaster, eh?"

Frigg gazed upon the newcomers. Surely more would come later, but for now she must ease their confusion.

"I am Frigg, one of many deities who watches over this world, and even your own. You may call your world many things, but here in Asgard, it is known as Midgard, one of the Nine Worlds. All of these worlds are connected to each other. However, something will happen here in the very near future that could rot all of these worlds. Even though the evil lurks here in Asgard, your world too will suffer and eventually fall."

She paused, placing her hands together in front of her hips. A dwarven man took a few steps in front of her, basically translating what she said. "Basically, She wants Ye ta stay 'n help Asgardians ta fight 'tever happens, ye git it?"

Frigg seemed to chuckle at the Dwarf. "Precisely. You are welcome to go anywhere in the world you please. If you wish to leave the forest, ask somebody to guide you out, for this area is well-protected by a cursed forest that not many can withstand. If you wish to return to your world, and want no part in protecting it, speak to me, and I shall indeed return you. I bid you farewell, for now."

Frigg, gave a warm smile, as only mothers give their children, and with a green glimmer, she was gone, leaving the rest of the crowd to ogle the newcomers.

A rather oddly dressed (or not, as his dress was more or less more commonplace where he usually frequented) young man morphed from one of the drops. He looked around for an odd second or two, before coming to two conclusions.

He was not where he was supposed to be, and also, he may or may not have been on something.

As Andre tried to stifle his inner shock and confusion, he looked around, finally seeing two females and a male. He managed to hear some snippets of the conversation, though this, for him, only raised further questions.

He cautiously stepped forward. One would have no trouble at all identifying who he was and his purpose in life, as the name MILENTE and the words US ARMY were each stitched onto the front pockets of his greyish-green shirt. He opened his mouth to speak, confused by the goddess' words.

"Wait... what?"

The dwarf, Andvari, stroked two fingers through his thick brown beard, squinting his eyes. "Aye, Yer here ta save the world, ehehe! Now git down n' gimme Twenty.. MILLION! AYEHEHEHEE!~"

Apparently the Dwarf had a cruel sense of humor.

"No, bit seriously, yer all ta come to the grand hall fer supper in an hour." The dwarf pointed to the center building withint he area, which was quite larger than the rest. "Thayt place! Explore the city if ya like."

"To save the world?" Lumiere had caught bits and pieces of the conversation going on around her. She was a very smart girl, and had studied all about the worlds and the gods and goddesses that watched over them. All of this seemed very surreal to her still though; seeing Frigg and for the most part understanding the goddess's intentions. She remained silent a moment. A dwarf nearby had said something about a banquet and exploring the city. It couldn't hurt. Apparently this was going to be her new home anyway. She would have to find out more about the cities in this place, and maybe even perhaps go out into the forest Frigg had mentioned. But she would save that list bit for later.

Andre shook his head playfully at the Dwarf's joke, still trying to keep a straight face.

"Aight then... do I get a tour, or am I left on my own?"

One of the late-forming droplets slowly began to expand and shapeshift into what appeared to be a dragon... only to break the image by the apparent horns, ears, and slender mamalian tail that popped out. The droplet wasn't a droplet anymore, it was now a blonded haired mannish thing, clad in armor that resembled a dragon in some ways.

Leraje was his name. Emerald eyes opened up behind silver frames, catching the last bit of conversation. He didn't have an idea of where he was, but it was safe as far as he knew.

Andre turned to the newcomer. It'd be rude to say 'what the hell are you', but Andre couldn't resist.

"And you are...?"

His pallor colored skin reflected that of something of an albino... or in some cases, a corpse. His green eyes slowly moved over to the addresser of the question. Leraje smiled, a sure grin of one that has already picked his words carefully.

"Confused," he added a light chuckle, "but really now, it's more polite if you introduce yourself before asking another's identity."

"Oh dear, how rude of me." Andre said. "It's just- I'm pretty disoriented right now. I'm Sergeant Andre Milente, I have just as much knowledge of this place as you do... unless you have more than me."

The unicorn man gave a simple nod to the Sergeant and a simple reply, "I'm Leraje."

Leraje gave a shrug, his armor scrunched up along with it. "Your guess is as good as mine."
