I recently read the Manga fro KH 1 and I started on KH - chain of
memories.
Has anyone else read these?
What did you think?
I think it's rather bunk that they did KH1 in only 4 volumes, but it was great. I enjoyed reading it.
I can't wait to get the second volume for KH- chain of memories.
I never did play Chain of memories.
What do you guys think about the Manga storyline VS the videogame storyline?

AHHHHH! You did NOT just start a kingdom hearts thread!! *hyperventilates*
lol! Okay, no in all seriousness, I love Kingdom Hearts to death. As for the manga, I definitely like the games better. Maybe part of that is that I'm a gamer, so reading it just ruins the fun for me, but I also think they leave out some important things in the manga. They also seem to rush through the story, which I dislike. I played the games first, so maybe what I say has no real merit, but it seems like if you've never played the game before, you'd have a hard time following what's going on. I don't know, maybe that's just me. I do like some of the humor they added though. It does add a little more interest to it. Plus there's always the benefit of getting to stare a pictures of my favorite final fantasy men biggrin I'm still more of a fan of the games though.

I agree, they could of extended it more on KH1. Only 4 volumes... xp
I do like the humor they added, I found myself Laughing out loud plenty of times.
I have never played Chain of Memories though, mainly because I don't like to play story games on a gameboy..except for supermario brother's...but that has such little story that I can deal. Now that I live with my BF though, he has a gamecube...I just need to figure out how to connect it.
I think I'm following the chain of memories story well, although I would probably get it more if I had played the game...or well..I'm just curious as heck to read the next volume! Which actually I just bought the other day cuz I just needed to read the next volume. It left me hanging and I'm dying to know who this other girl is...namine?
I don't remeber her from KH1...?
I always thought the girl drawing pictures on the walls was Kairi?

I LOVED the manga! I own all of them....must get more....*eye twitches* anywayz, COM the game is really fun. I just got it and I'm having a blast playing it.
