Irons stretched out from his nap, cracking almost every inch of his body as he wandered out of his dank den and into the boneyard of his pack, yawning and shaking himself out, blinking his yellow eyes on the surroundings, letting them narrow as he walked forward amogst the bonesm absently swatting aside anything that got in his way. As was his tendancy.
He stopped on the edge of the pack's territory and looked out across his lands, smirking at what he had won over his adversaries. The fools who thought that they could stand against him, it almost made him laugh despite that the fighting had been over for months. He almost missed the fighting. At least then he had something important to do, annoyances to dispose of... a larger pack. That he did regret. More than half were gone. Time to rebuild he supposed... and find a mate... but that was something he felt was better to avoid. He was young still, plenty of time. He didn't want to kill off all of his pups right off the bat.

Lusir stalked about the territory, seething. "To hell with it!" He growled. "I understand the concept of us being the bones pack, but why can't we bury these damned things." He pawed his way through another clattering pile of bones strewn about on the bare ground. Not having realized through his anger that he was hungry, his stomach grumbeled profucely. Lusir rounded about and made himself alert, searching for prey animals. Annoyed even as he spotted a bird, picking at another bone. {What kind of habitat do these wolves live in? And also I don't think I may be able to reply, I'm going out soonish...}

Queit.. The sound of the wind blowing the dirt off the ground was depressing for him. Barely any grass, just dirt. Kei yawned and stretched out his legs as he did not walk since last night. Tired, he slowly walked through the boneyard. Kicking the dirt as he goes. "Why am I here again?" He said, looking across the land. He frowned, thinking that he needs to wander off somewhere else for a long time til he misses the place. "I barely know anybody here..." He grumbled, jumping off from a bolder.
He sighs and lies on the ground. As there is never anything to do. He waits, usually something should happen. Sometime soon.. "You can't have a day if nothing happens... I mean.. Its so boring.." He mumbles. Kei jumps from his place and tries to find some food before he goes hungry.

Szálka was there now, just at the edge of the territory. She could distinctly smell the male who now called himself alpha. She chuckled at this. It had been in her vision her father would be overthrown by one who was not of the liniage. All thought Szálka brother, Thor would get it, but it seems he fled, or was killed, it was hard to say. Her visions were never wrong, sometimes misinterperited, but never wrong.
As the femme stepped onto the territory, she felt the pressence of the three males currently around her, they would yet to catch her scent, but somethign disturbing also caught her off guard. "The Bones," she murmured as she gazed around and wlaked toewards the bone yard. She gave a look of horror as she saw that some where not purified! Had this new alpha been so ignorant as to not appoint a shaman yet! How disgraceful... She consealed herself behind some brush as she spotted a male close to the borders, she assumed he was the new alpha, and her ear twitched as she saw another hunting around near the bone yard. Slowly the Shaman advanced, going to Irons. Her topaz eyes misty as she held her tail low, but her head high, she respected the alpha, but thought him stupid. No sane alpha would let a pack live like this. And the sound of crunshing bones made her hair bristle. Bones were not for nibbling, they were for purifying and giving to their god in the sacred festivals!

((They live in a bone yard, but the area around them it's all fairly normal and they live pretty close to the sea, a day or so away. PS: If you wanna send me a couple sentences, for everybody, on their wolves that I can add to the info page, t'would be much appreciated))
"Kei." Irons voice was harsh, but then it always was as he approached the other male, "I want you to hunt around the boarders and make sure that all of the wolves we've chased away aren't planning to return. If you can't kill them alone, should they attempt to return, take Lusir with you. I want you to be our patrol for now... find anything good to eat, bring it back. Being hungry does put me in a foul mood."
Then he saw Szálka and smirked, "I recognize you, but I believe I was much, much younger when last we met. You and your... prophacies. If I recall anyway. You were the apprentice Shaman, back before you left all that time ago. Of course... we did have to kill our priest, priestess and Shaman when we took over. They were a little... against my rule." He walked around her, like a shark circling his prey, "What about you... Szálka?" He remembered her name. From when he had been young, "Will you stand with your... bretheren, that I killed?"

Szálka slwoly pranced towards Irons, obviously this femme knew not what "personal space" was. She flickered his nose with her tail then chuckled. "If I was agaisnt you, why would come back? We both know you could easily outwit me in battle. MY strength is at par to yours, but you have experience... and we were both young, do not forget. Our litters were born in the same moon cycle..." The femme said gently with a wry smile. Sure she missed her family, but one could make new friends and family, and a shaman like her needed a pack. With out one, she was an easy target for all kinds of thigs.
"I am concerned about the piling number of unpure bones... The spirits grow uneasy, surly your own bones ache with this disturbance Irons? I know you can sence it..." She said, a bit harder. This was something she needed to do right away. She had to become shaman and purify these lands. Also, with out a shaman, who would preform the rites for the next hunting season, the pack was already suffering the effects of having a bad sacrifice, or no sacrifice last harvest moon.

"Of course my bones do ache from knowing all of this, but like I said Szálka, we don't have a shaman." Irons sounded slightly irritated, clearly not impressed by the other wolf in the slightest, "And don't you dare do something so foolish as to compare your strength to mine, Shaman, it will do you no favors. You are, however, the only remaining Shaman that the Bones Pack has... so it would be no skin off of my back if you were, per say, allowed to take back your office."
Despite his general dislike of Szálka, and essentially everyone, Irons knew that he did need a Shaman. It was partially what his pack was based around. He needed her, whether he liked it or not, and her presence would likely help in settling down the pack after a civil war. Yes, that would probably have to do. Though he would have to prove to her, there and then, that she held no authority over him, despite her position.

Szálka grinned, feeling him grow more irrate with her. Her office? She supposed that would do. It was hers to begin with, and she had been planning to come back and kill her old tutor for the position... She nodded and turned to leave but stopped, and turned back to him. "Next full moon I shall do the ceremony... I request the entire pack be present.. also, we should get a sacrifice... the gods are unhappy with you, it seems..." Then she looked down in thought. She would need to choose an aprentice with in the next two years, she was young yes, but she needed someone to help her and do the miniscule work she disliked doing.
She eyed Irons, knowing full well he wouldn't look for a mate until he absolutely had to. "When you have your first litter, I want first choice for my aprentice... I also want to see the female you choose, before you actually choose her..." She knew that was a long ways off, Irons was too stubborn to feel anything but annoyence for any of them. But sooner or later, his wolves would complain and Irons would be forced to find a mate. Szálka grinned and turned away, going off to inspect the other wolves of this pack. She eyed Kei and Lusir quietly as she walked, wondering where the rest of the pack was, she refuseds to believe they had diminished to such small numbers.

The tone of Irons' voice made Kei shiver. He looks at him and nods his head in pride. "Yes sir, I'm right on it." He turns and does a soft sigh to make sure that Irons doesn't hear him. Kei looks at Lusir and walks towards him. 'Maybe two is better than one.' He thought to himself.
Standing coldly behind Lusir, he pokes him. "Hey Lusir.. Do you want to come hunting with me?" He paused and looks around the boarders to see if he sees any wolves. Nothing in sight tha he could tell from the way they was standing. Kei's mind wandered off, thinking about the great food he could find. He drooled on the fact, but he didn't go any where yet.

Irons practically stepped on her to get between her and wherever she was going, and he didn't seem to particularily care, "Perhaps you and I have had a misunderstanding. Perhaps more than one, which I am going to make very, very clear, Szálka. First of all, the Gods were appeased by me in our civil war when I sacrificed your father to them, the lack of a Shaman, that's you, is the issue. Second, the first choice of my liter, whenever it comes, will be mine to pick as my predecessor, not yours. Third, who I chose for my mate will be MY choice, not yours. And why is the fourth reason. The Alpha of the pack is chosen by the Gods for being the strongest in the pack, you have nothing to do with it."
He looked her right in the eye, not a fiber of him afraid, or impressed by her. He had that presence thhat told that he was in perfect control of his pack. Just because Szálka had lived there did not mean that she understood the present circumstances, or that all of the wolves in the back were loyal to him, not to her, or her bones, "I am Alpha here. If you annoy me enough, I will sacrifice you to the Gods to appease them. You father was weak, pathetic, and did not deserve his position, otherwise I would not have taken it so easily. Now, go about your business. I welcome you back into the pack and accept you... but do not make trouble for me. Because my followers, whom agree that your father was pathetic, will not be so kind to you." With that he smiled, "In any case, Shaman, welcome back to the pride. I hope you put us right with the Gods, and that we come to a more... agreeable circumstance with each other soon. The pack will not like it if you and I are at odds with each other."

"First of all, my father would not be a suitable sacrifice, as I can see as there is little food here, and since he was as weak as you say,... the gods would be unpleased, and, you did not have a shaman sacrifice him, thus displeasing the gods more.. Second, I only say this, because I do not wish you to kill them all before I get to even look at one for an apprentice..." Szálka hissed at the alpha. She did not fear him, he could go ahead and try and sacrifice her. He would not find another shaman of her quality. She was a rare one, she could see visions, and induce those visions upons others if they were near her while she was in her trance state.
"Third, I say I wish to see her, so I can bless you both with the gods blessings... and fourth... if that is so, why then, did I have visions of you becoming alpha, and only tell my father parts of them... I told him what whould happen too late. I could have easily told them when we were pups, that way, you woulod be dead now... So you do owe me for this, Irons... I ensured you would become alpha, even though I knew all of my family would die from the event!" With that Szálka growled and stepped around him. She was heading towards a large tree with gnarled, upturned roots, there she would dig out her own den and start preparations for the upcoming full moon.
She then paused and gazed back at Irons, her Topaz eyes sharper then they had ever been, fueled by her anger at him, "I will serve you selflessly, as I would to anyone who had taken the role of Alpha. Whetaher it be you, or my brother... personally, I look forward to seeing how you handle this Irons... I expect great things from you..." Her voice had turned whimsical and calm once more, her eyes slowly glazing over as she then turned away and hummed a haunting tune, letting visions fly through her head and gleam in her eyes.

Lusir turned around with subdued fury in his eyes as the bird fluttered away. Good riddance to the scrawny thing anyway... He thought, letting his annoyance subside. "I suppose..." Lusir said, letting out a long sigh. "I'm up for anything as long as its not already dead."

Irons took in all of this information and slowly began to chuckle, "You saved me by not telling you father who I was...really? Well now, that is quite the interesting little turn of events. I think you and I will need to be more clear with each other in the future so as to avoid our little... spats. It seems we both have our... tempers. Alright, I agree to your terms that you may have your pick of a pup from my litter... but I won't be having one until I get older and actually have to worry about passing the pack along, so don't expect any at a more... early date. As to the girl whoever she is, a blessing from you will be fine. Don't sound so demanding next time, it tends to... make me confrontational. I do wish to appease the Gods after all," he shook his head and laughed. It sounded like glass scrapping across skin.
"Alright. You do have spunk, Shaman. I have a feeling that you and I will be able to build quite the pack out of the Bones, and restore us to our former glory. So for that sake... try to follow orders and be reasonable. We do need a Shaman, but I won't sacrifice my position or my pack for you." With that, he growled and turned away.

Kei faces the sky and tries to ingore the arguement that Irons and Szálka was having. The senct was mostly strong. 'Northwest.. thats pretty close to the sea..' He thought to himself. Pointing to the direction, "We should go that way.. The senct of fresh un-dead meat is strong.." He mumbled. "We should go now before it gets away.." He said.
He padded into the lush green grass and trees of the smell of meat. Making him drool over his paws. He was hungry that he could eat anything right now. There it was.. Past from the small birds that flew up in the air was a deer that was in the middle of eating. Next to it there was a bigger one. 'This is perfect... But to large for me to attack..' Waving his paw to come this way, but slowly and quietly or Lusir would scare the two deer away. And Kei did not want that to happen..

Easily copying Kei and ignoring the argument, Lusir nodded his head in agreement. "Live, and deer." He mumbeled and followed after Kei.
Lusir stalked up silently to Kei's side, having sented the deer just nay of when he did. He tilted his head twords the larger of the two, a buck. It would take both of us to bring down either of the two, so why not the larger. He contemplated in his head. Crouching down lower, his grey pelt blending into the rocks underpaw, Lusir examined the area for the best method of attack. One from here so we stay downwind and one to go upwind and scare the deer to the other. Plans began popping in his head with the ease of years of pratice.
