It was a bright and sunny day in the Pridelands, and Tetemeko was eager not to waste it by not finding someone to play with. He remembered how Safuma had said that she lived on Priderock, and he decided to go see if she or Zu were around. He assumed Zu was there too, of course, since they were sisters. Meko figured if he couldn't find either of them, then he'd still get to see Priderock up close and that by itself was very exciting. The only problem was that the only other sister he knew about them having might be around, and from the comments Safuma and Mzuza had made he'd guessed he might not like to meet her very much.

Ah well, it was worth the risk.

With a wide grin, the young lion hopped along the path to Priderock happily.

"Semmy, come on!" A loud voice broke into the serenity of the rock as laughter flowed across the clouds. A vibrant orange form appeared at where the steps led down from the royal dens, and in his mouth was a tuff of tail that led up to a copper form of an equally small form.

"Alright, alright, just let go of my tail, Matlai and I'll go play with you..." Her voice was much softer than his, and as he let go of the appendage she settled herself with soft dignaty, clearly much more refrained than the brighter boy. Suddenly, she watched as he took off down the steps, and let out a soft sigh, though a smile crossed her maw. Hopping down slower, she shook her head when she landed and looked for where her other brother had gone. Playing hide-and-go-seek was not what she really wanted to do at the moment, but she wasn't one to say no to one of her siblings.

Tetemeko was bounding along brightly when two strange little lions appeared within view. Neither looked familiar, but both of them looked like they could be fun. Having no description of Sarakiva, he didn't know if the girl could be her or not, but he was curious enough to check it out whatever the case was. With a grin, Meko jogged closer.

"Hello!" he called.

Ahead of Semine by quite a bit, he took a glance over his shoulder before skidding to a stop and fully turning around. Blinking, he just watched as his sister strolled up to him, a bit stunned at how she was acting before he caught himself. It was Semine, and she would need persuasion before really getting involved. Of course, he didn't mind persuading at all.

"Semmy, the point of tag is you need to run," He stressed the last word as he watched her reaction.

Blinking at him and tilting her head, her golden pelt caught the light slightly, "I know Matlai, but if I did that I would get tired," giggling, she suddenly stopped and leaned to the side, only a second before Tetemeko let out a greeting.

"Hello," She said softly, seeing her brother turn sharply.

"Oh...Hi!" Matlai stuttered a bit, before grinning, "Who are you?" Tilting his head like his sister did, he took a moment to look the elder lion over.

Tetemeko watched Matlai's attempt at starting a game without really realizing the trouble he was having. As far as he could tell, no one seemed to be having a bad time and that was what mattered. He grinned widely when he was noticed. He came to a stop, tailing swishing behind him cheerfully.

"I'm Tetemeko," he answered, "Who're you?"

Shifting slightly, Matlai was a bit miffed at the way that Tetemeko didn't recognize them, but let it go when he got a good look at the elder lion. He seemed genuine enough, and quite possibly a rouge with how his mane fluffed out, so it was alright in Matlai's book.

Moving quickly past her brother, she smiled brightly, her eyes and grin enhanced by the golden rays that fluttered down her cheeks.

"My name is Semine, and this is my brother Matlai, it is a pleasure to meet you Tetemeko!" It was all said with a grace and practiced tone, clearly showing she worked hard on her introductions at least. However, she knew it wasn't the same for Matlai, he always forgot the introduction part to being polite and a good host.

Tetemeko was not at all put off by Matlai's silence and slight displeasure at the introduction. He didn't really notice anything was wrong, only that the orangey cub did not tell him his name- and he was about to ask just as Semine stepped forward and introduced the both of them. He offered a friendly grin, and the small recognition he had of Semine's name went unnoticed until Matlai was introduced and he knew he'd heard both names before.

It took him a moment, and Tete was not exactly a master of hiding what he was thinking so he couldn't help but stare as he thought. His first instinct was to think of Safuma and Mzuza- the two he'd thought he might find here, and he tried hard to remember the looooong list of siblings Safuma had gone through. It sounded about right.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both," he returned finally, shaking his head to snap out of it, "A-are you Safuma and Mzuza's family?" Tete took a chance, for he wouldn't know unless he asked. They looked like they could be, in a very.. vague way. The eyes, he guessed.

Perking suddenly at the question and mention of his sisters, Matlai's chest puffed up a bit and he pushed ahead of his sister and towards Tetemeko. Grinning widely, he bowed his head a moment with practiced flourish and waved his tail smugly in the air.

"Of course we are, one of the royal nine as I justly call my family...Safuma may be the eldest of all of us but I of course am the strongest, and the bravest, and the most fun of all of our-"

A well placed paw on a smugly arched tail cut off the orange boy, Semine sending her own meeker and pretty smile. It was nothing stunning or gleaming like her brother's, just a normal thing that she practiced herself every day.

"Those would be our siblings...there are quite a few of us as Matlai...justly pointed out...but does that mean you've met Safuma and Mzuza?"
