 Wacheza looked up, blinking out of his regular thoughts for a moment. The small rusty colored cub stretched out, cracking his neck loudly, which desturbed his regular following of butterflies, making them scatter into the wind, but they didn't stay there long. By the time he was seated on the sand again, watching the tide go out, he was once again covered, almost from head-to-toe with the little bugs and their brightly colored wings. A strong contrast to the young lion's regularly normal appreance.
He slowly started to look upwards at the sky, noticing the storm clouds in the distance which made him thoughtful. He had never seen a huge storm before, being as young as he had, but he had heard of them. The big black clouds that brought collossul waves and downpours of rain that could wash away entire beaches. Wacheza had always wondered, as he did about virtually everything, what they were like... and if he stood out in a storm and thought, would it change anything? What he wondered about?

Nix was having her wings carry her away from the gray colored clouds of the storm she had just passed through. She felt relieved, soothed, she was able to have a lot of her stored energy released itself in the form of lightning sparks and bolts that had crackled across the sky moments before. There was a smile on her maw, her blue hues looking down at the great blue wonder beneath her body and paws, the sea, how she loved the sea. Though she had to admit, it smelled funny.
She spotted somehting while having her eyes cast over the sandy strip of land next to the crashing foaming waves. Something brown, and small. She dipped lower, watched, was that a cub? Tilting her head she lowered herself even more, letting her toes touch the water, it was cool, and she shivered in delight.
It was nice.
She landed upon the sand down the beach from the brown mass, puling her wings upon her back she watched him, then decided to venture forward, not bothering with an illusion. Cubs had imaginations, perhaps he wouldn't be afraid.

Wacheza was both bewildered and amazed at what he saw as Nix flew in beside him. Her wings, her face, the horns on her head, and even the fact that she had flown amazed him. Had he been older, he likely would have called it love at first sight with how beautiful she was. He didn't even no what to say, he could only stare with his hige black eyes.
The butterflies that perched on him flew away as she came close and Wacheza stood up. He came closer, little by little, looking at her, a smile slowly creeping onto his face as he looked at her wings, "You... wow..." was all he managed, not believing that a Goddess could have possibly, for real, flown down and landed next to him. It did, quite simply, blow his mind.

Nix giggled as he seemed amazed, as she drew closer, she stopped, and then he came closer. Cubs and their curiosity! It was so grand, how she loved little cubs so, she adored them, they were so, so perfect. Eee, and this little boy was such a cutie! "Wow?" she asked with a smile upon her maw, "My name's Nix'Annada little one, Nix for short if you do so prefer," she said bowing her head to the little cub, and she sat back and watched him with curious eyes.
Such a little cutie.
"Whats your name hmm? So brave to be all by yourself so close to the water you know."

Now his supposed hallucination was real. And it wasn't even Wacheza's birthday, but he felt as though it was, and so much more than that. He had never seen a lioness so beautiful in his entire life, and she was talking to him! That alone was enough to make the cub brave.
"Nix..." He said, his tail twitching, slowly and gracefully, "I'm Wacheza... but... I guess you can call me Cheza if you want... but almost no one does." He rambled a little, as was his tendancy, "I like being near the sea, it's pretty..." he came very close to saying 'like you' but instead he just smiled in a silly way, "Are you a Goddess Nix?"

Cubs were so very adorable, she smiled at him, pulled her wings upon her back so that she could rest them. She had been flying for some time now, a nice rest here by the sea seemed like a very nice idea. "Then Cheza it is then, such a nice name for you," she said with a nod, a few small sparks straying away from her wings on her back by accident. She'd have to be a bit more careful here, so much water, and a young cub, if she couldn't control herself, it spelled out disaster.
"The sea is beautiful, so vast and blue, serene yet strong...a goddess? Yes, goddess of lightning," she said with another nod, and a smile.

"My brothers and sisters will never believe me!" Wacheza claimed in disbelief, sitting down in front of her and looking up, way way up for the littgle cub that he was, "What's the Goddess of lightning doing all the way down here...? If I had wings like yours, I would take off and never touch the ground again!"
Of course, in Wacheza's case this was probably fairly untrue. He liked the peace and quiet of just sitting, thinking and doing nothig. Of course, up in the sky he could probably get millios of ideas that no other lions would ever dream of.

"Oh really? why not?" she asked with a giggle, perhaps they were a bit away from here, so she could not meet them and give little Wacheza some cool status with his siblings. Perhaps another day then. "I'm taking a rest I guess Cheza, been flying for some time, looking for someone," she said with a nod. Yes, her sister, she would find her, she would, she swore it. "Perhaps another day when I pass by here again, if you'd like, I could meet your brothers and sister, and have them believe you?" she asked with a smile.
Yes, maybe that would make little Wacheza smile some more.
She loved it when others smiled.

Wacheza looked slightly estatic then, "Really? Would you please? That would be amazing!" Once that part of him calmed down, he paid more attention to what she said. Looking for someone. Nix was looking for someone. Wacheza was always out meeting new people, maybe he had met who the Goddess was looking for, "Who are you looking for Nix? Maybe I can hep you."
While Nix loved to see other smile, Wacheza loved almost the same thing. He never liked to see people unhappy, especially those who were kind to him, and so far the Goddess had been nothing but sweet. That alone would make him smile for weeks.

"Yes of course Cheza, would be so lovely, and then if your brothers and sister wanted to play a game..." she said, then crouching down, smirking at him, unfolding her wings, "We'd tag team, and take them on yes?" she said giggling, sitting back again, smiling. Cubs, so wondrous, she wondered if she would have a family of her own one day, have little cubs of her own one day.
She smiled at how curious he seemed to be, "My sister, well, best friend...literal sister sort of thing, we've known each other since we were cubs, though I haven't seen her in a while, she's a goddess too Cheza," she said with a smile.
Perhaps if Nix found her sometime, she'd bring her here to meet Wacheza as well.

Wacheza smiled brightly, "Yes! You and I would win for sure!" Then he looked thoughtful, moving his head to the side, "I don't think that I've ever seen another Goddess except for you... but when you find her, she should come and play with us too! I have five brothers and sisters, I bet we'd win for sure if we all teamed up and played hide and seek... we could fly up into the sky and they'd have to give up if we hid on a cloud!" The little cub's mind was totally blown, but then he looked at the ground, shuffling sheepishly.
"Nix... would you be my girlfriend?" Under his fur he was turning bright red, but he had to ask.
((Sorry, had to do it. Kid I teach swimming too asked me that last night and I just about died it was so cute))

Nix laughed and nodded her head. "Of course, of course, I bet she'd like that, I bet you could make her smile Cheza," Nix smiled and let her wings fall a bit, touching the ground slightly, "Hide on a cloud? Hiding in a cloud would be better don't you think?" she said with a sly smile, and she laughed again. He seemed so curious and happy about everything, and his next statement took her a bit off guard, and she wasn't sure what to say.
She didn't want to break his little heart.
She'd feel terrible.
"Girlfriend? Do you know what that means Cheza huh?" she asked lightly, nudging his shoulder lightly, trying to not be mean, but not say yes. "I can be your friend, and be a girl, I'm a bit old for you I'm afraid Cheza," I wonder what he'll look like when he's older...ooo, bad Nix bad! He's just a kid right now...though it wouldn't hurt to wait either... she thought, musing to herself.
She hoped he wouldn't be mad at her.
But she also wanted him to know the meaning behind the girlfriend concept...might be bad for him to go around asking a lot of girls to be his girlfriend...a whole new dilemma would start then.

"We could hide in a cloud too..." Wacheza said, and then he only smiled at her next comment, "A girlfriend is someone who is your friend... and a girl, and you get to fall in love like my parents did." He seemed to know what he was talking about, which made him look quite proud of himself.
"I guess you are older than me..." Wacheza shifted around a little, then he just smiled again, "I can wait until I'm older. Then I'll find you and ask you again, unless you stay and play with me. I think we'd be the champions of hide and seek." He didn't seem in the least discouraged.

"Well then, you know your stuff then huh? You're very smart Cheza," she said with a nod. Had his parents already talked about relationships with him? Well then, they were earlier then most Nix had seen over the years, however, perhaps the earlier its discussed, the easier it will be to talk about...other things, when later down the road when he would be older. She flicked her tail and nodded, "A lot older Cheza, a lot older, I can live for a long, long time, though sometimes, in certain situations, age does not matter, if you're in love," she said smiling, placing her paw on his head to rub the fur there.
"One day you'll have a mane there Cheza, and all the girls will be chasing you around, who knows, maybe I'll be one of them, but we'll see in time, won't we huh?" she said sincerely. Who knew, maybe she'd find a soft spot for him even later on.
Stranger things had happened.
"We'll see each other from time to time I'm sure, I'll come visit you as much as I can, sound good?"

"Please come and visit me when you find your friend! I want to meet her." Wacheza smiled, a small butterfly returning and landing on his ear, "Besides, the only girls I know my age are my sisters. All the cubs around here are boys," he sighed, "I can't have a boy girlfriend... or could I have a boyfriend? Does that even make sense?" his ears twitched as he thought it over, "No... they're not pretty enough."
He grinned widely then, "When I get older I'll come and find you again, and I'll be cooler than all the other guys."
((Lol, I think we need to continue a relationship with these guys, they're too cute))
