I understand that parents need a some time to accept the fact that their children is gay/bi but your friend's parents who just kicked her out... that sucks! I hope they'll soon realise that there's nothing wrong with the fact of being gay!

I know, its terrible, isnt it?
I think somones religion plays a part in it too, but parents should love their children, even if they are gay/straight/bi.

I'm sure it would be a shock to a parent if you found out that your child was homosexual, because you would probably grow with it, thinking it would be straight and have kids of it's own.
Whatever floats yer boat.

Some parents just aren't accepting cause of their own upbringing. My family doesn't accept gayness. They accept the family member, but not their lifestyle of living. Tis why my dad's husband isn't allowed at family gatherings. Sometimes they don't even invite my dad. My family was raised with a very religious background so that's why they act the way they do. Kinda sad really. confused

*shakes head* well life is shitty and parents throwing thier child out for something like that...even if they are Christains and that is thier reson for casting them out it's still not humane. It's thier child not a bloody dog.

I am faced with that problem as well...I asked my parents and they said they'd kick me out :S So I just try to stay out of those kinds of conversations...
