Weusinafsi had taken a break from her traveling companion Rengo. She thought it would be best if he socalized with others without her, after all she might not always be there with him. He had to learn to be on his own some times since he wasn't to far away from being a full-grown adult.
A sigh escaped her maw as she thought about him growing older.
Ew.
The older he got the older she got. Nafsi shook her head not wanting to think about aging.

((She's the girl of course XD Went with that picture instead of her cert because it showed the jewelry and flowers she'd be most certainly decked in.)) -The sun baked against the cub's light back spot as she padded through the savannah, making note to stay in the grasses that didn't engulf her so.
Mixes of gold and green passed her eyes, and as nice as it was, the tiny princess couldn't help but sigh. She could see grass anytime she wanted! Right now she wanted to see a someone! Play, talk, gloat. It didn't matter, she just wanted someone else around. One wouldn't think it would be so hard in a place as populated as the Pridelands.
Jewlery clacking and swaying she continued on, looking for a sign of life in the quiet and warm afternoon.-

Green ears flicked at the sound of clacking and soft pawsteps. Pink eyes surveyed the area around her but saw neither hide nor hair of anything living. Not yet. Shrugging her shoulders Weusinafsi continued on her merry way ignoring the occasion clacking that could be heard.
However, after some time it began to irrate the leopard and she clenched her teeth together and forced herself to remain calm, cool, and collected. "Hello?" Nafsi called out hoping she could get a response so she could find the source of the clacking and when she did perhaps she could get it to stop.

-The princess' ears perked gently at the voice, pausing long enough to try and dechiper whether it was real or something her mind had made up. But almost immediately she decided that it MUST have been real and quickly she bounded through the grasses in the direction she guessed it'd come from.- "Hellllllooo there!"
"Where are you?" -Her tone was friendly, young, and curious as her eyes surveyed the area. Though even if the leopardess had come into sight, she probably wouldn't have noticed it, as of yet only having seen lions of golden, white, and brown hues.-

The leopard's pink eyes scanned the area that she thought the voice was coming from. She saw nothing yet, much to her displeasure and her ears flattened against her head at the sound of the clacking. She forced herself to remain calm, it would do her no good to get upset or frustrated. Besides she felt that she was more composed than that, had better manners than to snap at anyone unless the need really arose.
"I am over here." She called loud and clear taking a seat and flicking her tail rather frequently hoping it would get the attention of whoever she was speaking to but could not see.

-Ears lifted to catch the sound, and she followed it quickly, tiny cubby head finally peeking through the grasses to stare up at the strange creature.
It was moving.. and it had the scent of a cat.. so it had to be something. But look at that tail! And it's skin was like grass! Her tiny eyes widened in surprise, stepping forward to take another long look at the strange creature.
And finally, after a long moment of awkward silence, she piped up cheerfully, as if the momentary strangeness before hadn't even happened.- "Hello there! I'm princess Sarakiva." -She stressed her name gently, drawing it out as if it were a song, wide smile settled upon her maw.-

The noise was coming from a cub, then she had no problem with it anymore, even if it was still annoying. She wouldn't get angry at the youngster, that wouldn't be fair.
Nafsi smiled and nodded her head. Princess eh? It was a good thing her temper had cooled down, it wouldn't have been good to make a fool of herself in front of royalty. Well that really wasn't the case but she was glad that she had good control over her temper. "My name is Weusinafsi, it's nice to meet you Princess." She replied politely. "The pridelands are very beautiful." She commented trying to move the conversation along.

-The name was a bit of a strech for the young one and she unintentionally slaughtered it the first time through.- "Weu..sina..fsi."
-Seeming to notice it however she pondered for a moment before asking mildly.- "Can I call you Weusina? It's much easier. You can call me Sara if you want."
-Her eyes glanced out to the surroundings, which as of yet still had a tendency to tower over her, but she nodded nonetheless. What she had seen WAS beautiful, and after all it WAS the best kingdom ever, so the green creature must be right in her assertion.
Lacking tact both from youth and the lack of discpline from her parents, another statement that could have been taken as rude slipped from the princess, curiousity touching her eyes.- "You're not a lion are you?"

"Actually young one, I'd prefer if you called me Nafsi, it's probably easier than Weusina, it's shorter at least." The leopardess replied as politely as she could to the young princess. "I hope that isn't a problem Sara." She told the other using the shortened name that she was given permission to use.
The lioness's question made her chuckle. She couldn't count how many times she had been asked that. "No, I am not." She stated simply with a light shake of her head. "I am a leopard, a mere cousin of your species."

"Okay then." -She nodded as she stated the simple words finding herself far more interested in the later statement.-
"Cousins? I have alot of those, lots of brothers and sisters too." -Her eyes inspected further and her paw reached out lightly to paw in the direction of her tail.- "They don't look like you though, so that must mean you're a special cousin."
-Coming to the conclusion, and seemingly sealing any other thoughts on it, she hopped a little jingling her amass of jewerly once again.- "So what are you doing then? Playing? Or resting and stuff?"

"A special cousin I am indeed." Nafsi replied deciding that it was better to avoid the specifics of what kind of cousin she was. "I'm just doing a bit of exploring as I wait for my companion to find what he was looking for here." The leopardess explained simply no longer bothered by the clanking of the cub's jewelery now that she knew where it was coming from.

-Companion. But was it a friend like Nariko, or a escort babysitter like Ai? If it were the later Sara was MORE than happy to help her, Nafsi, escape for awhile. But if it was the prior... she wasn't so sure.
Stepping a few silly wandering cubby steps around, she thought aloud.- "I like to explore too. But I already know all the stuff here since it's close to where I live. But I can help you find stuff, maybe." -Or she could continue on her way back to playing. But politeness and intrigue held her for the moment.-

"Exploring is the best part of being in a new place. You find things that you'd never find anywhere else." Nafsi agreed with a nod thinking about her past 'adventures' where she saw things that she only dreamed about. Like the ocean for example. When she was younger she only heard stories about one of nature's greatest wonders and could only dream about. Then she finally came upon it and it was like bliss.
"Is there anything that I absolutely have to see while I'm here?" The leopard asked. After all although she had been to the pridelands more than once she had not seen everything there was to see. Besides it would be nice to see things that only those living in these lands really knew about.

-Sara liked to explore some, but she wasn't like alot of cubs. Contentment with her place had overcome the usual cub wanderlust, but nonetheless she pondered.- "Well... There are a couple nice flower beds here and there that I like to visit. But I guess my favorite thing to see, is when you climb up the priderocks and look out from the tip. You can see SO much land, all the way out to the sun in the morning!"
"It's a good place to start. It's kind of like a map." -She nodded matter of factly.-
"I can take you up if you wanna see?"

Even as a cub Nafsi had always had wanderlust. It had only grown as she did she mused. The leopard had always been grateful for her strong desire to wander and see the world, or at least see what she thought was the world. Blinking she mentally shook herself out of her thoughts and focused on what the young princess was telling her. "Flowers are always enjoyable to look at, unless they're infested with insects, which they rarely are," she commented thoughtfully nodding her head.
"Priderock you say?" Nafsi's interest was severally perked. She had never actually been to the large structure that defined the pridelands. "I've never been there before. It would be an honor if you would take me." She stated not trying to flatter the young female at all. She really thought it would be an honor to see.
