Likes: Stopping to smell the roses, long naps, pleasent conversation, cloud watching, brushwork (making
or admiring it), art in general, colors, sunny days, warm things, meditation...
Dislikes: Violence, hatred, or anything else that disrupts her peace... Otherwise, she's pretty content with the world.
Personality: Pleasent yet aloof, Sumi is the kind of Numa who loves all yet pursues nothing in her life. While she seems to have a talent for getting along with just about anyone (
or thing), social matters have never been her first priority; in fact, given the choice, she would rather doze in a sunny field than actively seek attention from others! In her mind, the greatest satisfaction lies in nature, tranquility... and of course, the arts.
Odd Quirks and Habits: ... Strange though it might be, Sumi has an inexplicable tendency to use Japanese honorifics whenever she refers to another Numa, Smidgeon, Pleep, bug, tree, or rock. She doesn't even seem to have a conscious recognition of the language; rather, it appears to be an innate, subconscious understanding. Similarly, she has a strange affinity for giving nicnames based on things like color, size, or any other aesthetic/artistic trait she can recognize in a subject. It's never meant as a belittling gesture, of course... it just sort of happens.
