Sleek spotted green fur rippled with the feline's every step. Her long tail, also marked with spots, flicked nonchalantly as she moved. Pink eyes scanned the area around her before she slowed in her step, not stopping but slowing. The leopardess cocked her head back behind her at the lion that should be at her heel before speaking.
"Rengo, do you see that great expanse of trees and land before us?" The female questioned moving her head back slightly to indicate the land before them. "That is the pridelands that you have heard about."

Rengo was growing, and fast too! It was hard not to notice the slight extra weight being put on or that each day his legs seemed to get a bit longer. It had only been a week or so since they headed for the pridelands, but truly he was growing up. His pink mane was starting to come in more and he could feel it tickle the back of his neck every time wind passed, he loved it!
His eyes followed along the horizon of trees and land, the exact land Weusinafsi was explaining. "We're here then!" He said cheerfully, tail flicking back and forth, brushing against the grass surrounding them both.
He slowed down a lot after a minute, almost stopping. "Wow." He breathed, truly looking at what lay before him. Priderock. Something about that... priderock.. shouldn't there be a priderock in the pridelands? He let his gaze roll over the grass and suddenly came upon it. It looked really small in the distance...

Weusinafsi chuckled lightly as her companions enthusiasm. "Is there anything specific about the pridelands that you wish to visit or would you rather just wander and see what we may find?" The leopardess inquired with a slight tilt of her head as she watched him look around. She also sunk down to her haunches to give him plenty of time if he needed it.
She was in no hurry, they had plenty of time, but....there was so much of the world to see, so much that even Nafsi had not seen it all and the female had been traveling for some time. Since she was...well Rengo's age. Or rather, the age he was when she had first met him. The lion had grown, it was a hard fact to miss, but he was still the same, that was obvious as well.
Shaking her head lightly she turned her attention back to the male.

"I'm up to a little wandering myself.." He said immediately, grinning. Sometimes it was good on impulse and he didn't want to think about what to see or come up with places to go. "Maybe we could even meet some others?" He asked slowly, looking around and then moving to sit next to his companion for a moment.
"Just wing it, as the saying goes."

Nafsi nodded in agreement liking his choice. It was always a pleasure to wander the lands of an extremely populated area where they were bound to run into someone eventually, and if the didn't then it would be very odd, very odd indeed. "Wandering it is." Nafsi stated remaining seated. "There is a good chance that we will meet someone who lives in these lands, they have many living in these lands."
The leopard's tail flicked across the grass before she rose to her paws. "Shall we be off or would you like to sit for a moment longer?" She questioned.

It seemed in the brief moment he'd been waiting for her answer he started to zone out. His gaze was slightly filmed over as he stared up at the sky. Massive black clouds were moving about in the west-north, thunder rumbling in the great distance. A quick rain storm, perhaps.
"Hmm, wha?" He said, shaking his head and looking to her. But when he implied he needed the question repeated everything that she had been saying flooded back into his mind. "Oh, no we can go now.." He said and smiled, standing and stretching his front paws.
"Yes... a big land.." He mumbled slightly. "A full land, really. My homelands have a lot of family in them as well.."

At the delay in Rengo's answer Nafsi tilted her head as she looked at him before following his gaze slightly. Her pink eyes took note of the storm clouds in case they grew close enough for them to be a threat. But as of now they were nothing to be too worried about.
Then Rengo answered her question and she nodded. "Off we go then." She started forward before stopping and waiting for him. A light smile on her face. "I believe that the pridelands has the biggest population of any pride....." Nafsi shrugged her shoulders before taking another step and adding "Things could have changed from my last visit but I am pretty sure that it is still the same..."

She was probably right but Rengo couldn't help but feel that his homelands could give the pridelands a run for their money, even if they'd end up losing population wise. None of this really mattered anyways, he probably should be thinking about meeting new lions and preparing himself to behave and all of that goodness.
But his thoughts wouldn't stray from his homelands and it was frustrating him, he didn't want to go back right now so why was his heart feeling tight? He knew it was because he missed his family but...
Maybe I should have said goodbye to mum... "No regrets.." He suddenly said out loud. Then his eyes widened and he coughed, trying to cover the fact that he just spat out something completely irrelevant to leaving or whatever.
He moved after Nafsi and came up by her side.

A larger form lolled around the grasses of the Pridelands, sandy coat blending in and yet helping him stand out as well. He portrayed a color that was of the old pride, but now he understood things were growing in the lands, and color was blossoming throughout the world and over the pelts of all lions. Mastema was a fool when he was younger, but now that maturity set in he did know a thing or two about life, which was something he prided himself upon.
He walks along the side of the boundaries started out as a daily even, more to search for his mother and father who left him, but now he did it simply to see what was going on. Upon speaking with Ta'Ziyan one day, the advisor to his aunt, he learned his walks could help the pride. With that idea in mind, he practiced day in and day out just to become a scout like the elder lion explained.
Thoughts disrupted after a long moment, he blinked at the vibrant sight before him of a pink haired lion and a green leopardess. Faltering in step, he just gapped a long moment before his stupid grin spread across his features. Now was more than a perfect time to test his 'skills' and so he galloped over to where they were, not really wanting to sneak up. He wanted them to know he was there, and of course wasn't a threat.
"Hello!"

Mjrn had been wiggling about within the tall grass near by and with luck had stumbled upon the two. She was so young still so her mind simply longed to gather information on whatever it could, and seeing the two new, much larger lions before her made her toes wiggle with excitement. She loved adventure!
Slowly she crept along, keeping her tiny frame close to the ground as she did so. She didn’t want them to see her… she wanted to be like her mother; she wanted to hunt! But she almost always forgot the color of her pelt and markings… and how she stuck out like a sore thumb.
Her blue eyes went narrow as she settled herself just a few feet away and gazed over at the two. The green lioness looked so odd to her. Like she was a whole different type of lion that Mrjn had never seen before. This made her toes tingle even more! The male on the other hand smelt like a lion but his colors were so alluring to her. She smiled softly to herself as she did her best to stay out of sight.

Rengo's sudden words were confusing for a second before the leopard figured out that he was thinking of home. She opened her mouth to speak, but the other male that appeared on the scene broke her train of thought with his sudden appearance and outburst.
She didn't let it bother her though, instead she put on a smile and polietly replied. "Hello there." She said nothing more after that, waiting for Rengo to speak up if he felt like it when she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye.
She paid no heed though figuring it to be a young lion playing a game.

Rengo was glad for the interruption, he really didn't feel like talking about home or any of that or that he was feeling home sick. He wanted to just focus on his adventure! And now there was even a pridelander to meet! Well, Rengo hoped it was a pridelander.
"Hey." He said to the adult, watching him curiously for a moment. He was an odd mix of creamy colors and tan with a rusty colored mane... they were all pleasing together, the colors. Rengo wondered what this male's parents looked like... he seemed rather interesting. His coat combination at least.
He sat slowly again, tail flicking back and forth. He didn't realize there was a juvenile close behind him, the tail would probably be enticing to her. Rengo wasn't very aware of his surroundings right now. "Are you a pridelander?" He asked slowly, glancing at Nafsi unsurely, as if she could answer that question.

His grin slowly shifted into a slow smile as he got the greetings out of the seemingly friendly creatures before him. Taking a quick look to get a better idea of their coats, he turned towards Rengo as he spoke up.
"Yep, the name's Mastema, and I'm guessing you aren't from around here are you?" He tilted his head as he continued to keep that smile, failing to notice the juvenile sneaking up on them considering his focus was upon the two.
"Actually, we get a lot of visitors so it really is of no surprise..." He added as an afterthought, hopefully catching himself before they thought they didn't belong. Paranoid a bit, his smile faded as he studied their reactions, already hoping he didn't mess up at all. He really wanted to do well, so he could go tell Kamilika of his day later and hopefully get the duty.

That tail taunted her. She could feel her claws extend as she slowly crept closer and closer. She wanted it down... and down it would be after she was done with it. With a soft snarl she jumped and went after it, taking it into her jaws as she tumbled down on it without any second thought. Her claws gripped onto the back of the male as she tugged at his tail, nipping it playfully.
This was a game to her!

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mastema, I am Weusinafsi." She told him with a slight bow of her head. "We are not from here, that is true, we are hear for an adventure." She smiled before sinking down into a sitting postion and curling her tail around her forepaws.
That was when the juvenile pounced on her companion. The leopard turned her head back to see what exactly had made the soft snarl, when she saw it was only a young lion she chuckled softly. "It appears you have made a friend Rengo."
