First off, a bunch of you are all thinking "ZOMG Father that's so inmature of you!"
This isn't the type of raid you are thinking. Back like a few months ago, Aeris Esper spoke of a similar raid he did on the FF subforum in an attempt to make it civil and controlled by making actual threads that required some form of intelligence to come up with.
So how about it regs? Raid the VGD with intelligence?
If we do decide on this, we need to decide on a date so we can have a controlled attack. None of this out of control and we don't know what we're doing 4 chan style xd
Spread the word to other VGD regs. We need all the ammo we can get!

I'm all for it. I think that inducing a buttload of intelligent, well-formed discussions might cause idiots' brains to overload. Bwahahahahaha.
I suggest:
The inclusion of "clone" characters in Super Smash Brothers: Melee and their possibility in Brawl, and how they will affect the metagame.
Also, I think a topic about wavedashing...
Wait a sec, s**t, those'll get deleted because of the sticky in the fighting games subforum. gonk crying Since I just woke up I'm out of ideas for the moment, but I'll come back with more

How about a discusion on Gimmicks. I see how people often use the word Gimmick as a negative towards the Wii, DS, Guitar Hero, and among other things. But the definition of Gimmick is (loosely) is something that draws attention towards a product, so that would make every game and system a gimmick by said definition.
Also, discuss weabooness on the VGD lately.

Yoshi, make the wavedashing one more general about "Is it cheating to use actual game features?" and use wavedashing as an example. You can mention snaking in Mario Kart, too. And maybe something else like that.
Just tossing around a few ideas... cheating in online games and how it affects the community, how to make a movie-based game that doesn't suck, virtual money to real money trading is good/bad, a solid "STFU, graphics do matter" type thread, and a PC vs Console debate that doesn't totally suck.

GENIUS! AERIS UR SO SMRT crying ... I'll get to work on my thread, the one Aeris just suggested. Can anyone think of other examples besides Mario Kart, and Smash Brothers? Preferably something Nintendo-related. Maybe even Halo-related, even though I hate halo/know nothing about it. xd

I was also thinking should we scheduel the date for some major release to block off all of the fanwankery from said release. Say for example the actual release of Halo 3 or the day before?

Prooves how long its been since I stepped into the VGD forum.
