So, I recently started Inferno, it is an incredible translation (Mark Musa - Penguin Classics -). So far I'm to the VIII Canto.

I wanted to open this as a discussion of Dante's poetry, specifically, The Divine Comedy.

One of my professors just gave me The Inferno, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I should try to get my brother to join this guild, though, since he's quite interested in The Divine Comedy.

I'm hoping you'll enjoy it when you get a chance to read it. I'm currently reading Purgatorio... though, I haven't picked it up in awhile...
