Every one has heard about Bloody Mary. And there are tons of different stories. Rangeing from her being summoned and scratching eyes out to ripping out hearts. Always a scary and grusome story. In my younger years I even tried to summon Bloody Mary. I am unharmed and still alive. Or so it seems. MAWHAHAHAHA!

One of many Stories:
About 100 years ago or so there was a woman named Mary. One day she had a terrible accident and her face was scratched so badly that she bled to death. But her spirit could not rest. Bloody Mary roams the world as an evil ghost. If you stand in front of a mirror in the dark and say her name three times, you will see her horribly mangled face appear. If you don't turn on the light and run away as fast as you can she will try to scratch your face off.

I said it once when I was younger, you know on a dare. After watching that ep, I was afraid to go NEAR a mirror...and my cuboard doors are mirrors xd

I've also heard that she was Mary I of England.
Mary "Bloody Mary" Tudor was responsible for 283 deaths at the stake on accounts of Heresy.
Heresy, the act of differing in religion, was frowned upon by her because of her Roman Catholic upbringing. She also 'miscarried' her children. They speculate that she did not want a child to rise above her and stop her 'cleansing'. But it is thought that she only provided her nickname to the folklore.

More stories say she is 'Mary Worth'. Mary Worth, who has never been proven to excist, is said to be a child murderer who lived in the haunted town years ago. She was most likely a widow who murdered her children.

Some versions say that she was mary- Queen of Scots. But these are because of the rumor she bathed in the blood of children victims. This is actually confusing her with Erzsébet Báthory, the countess that slaughtered many virgin girls in the attempt to remain young. Erzsébet Báthory is believed to support vampire legends more than Bloody mary Legends.

In all honesty, Bloody Mary is a children's game in which you attempt to summon a witch or spirit by saying "Bloody mary, I killed your children.", "I killed your baby.", or simply repeating her name 3 times in a dark room. While these are the most popular ways to play, there are many variations. There is:
*chanting a hundred times
*chanting at midnight
*spinning around
*rubbing one's eyes
*running the water
*chanting her name thirteen times with a lit candle

Most of these are actually to disoriantate you while your friends sneek in and pop up behind you.

There are also variations on how she haunts you. It includes:
*scratching out your eyes
*ripping off your face
*driving the person insane
*bringing the summoner into the mirror
Some even say that she does not kill you, but instead tells your future if you look at her mirror image, and not at her.

Overall, she is a spirit with a past of violent murder. Easily targeted as a Supernatural Episode icon, yah?

That was the only episode that freaked me out. I agree I never went near a mirror for the rest of the night.

The story I heard was that you go into the bathroom, and look into the mirror, say her name 13 times(you get a candle!) and she appears and she drops a doll and if you don't catch it you die. My one friend hear the one where she suposudly scratches your eyes out. But i'm to scared to even try it xD I'm bad at catching and I don't want to die! So ya, after that episode I wouldn't look in a mirror, so i didn't wear make up the whole week(but i only wear eye liner so not much of a difference) still. I miss the scary eps.

I do not play with things that may or may not be true. No one ever really knows what is really out there in the dark, best not to disturb it.

I know it's totally mean but I am such a practical joker that wehn I was like twelve, I had a sleepover on my birthday and when we are all in the dark, huddled together and saying Bloody Mary - I waited a few moments and jumped ont eh nearest girl and scared her so bad!

I don't know if Bloody Mary is real but sometimes LIVE people can be worse!

I don't know if she is real but the story I heard was that you say her name 3 times in a dark bathroom and she comes out with a knife and stabs you....don't ask where I got that but I also heard that Mary died on her wedding day? I don't know if that's true but there's so many stories you just don't know!

All of us girls used to that at sleepovers, we learned the way of turning around 3 times and saying her name.

The story I know is about a couple of 13 year old girls who are having a slumber birthday party but the girl has to let her little sister join the fun. Basically they ignore her until the sister wants to go sleep in her own room. Then they let her join so they don't get in trouble. They teach her the bloody mary legend and get her to go into the bathroom, planning to scare her when she comes back out. THe only problem is, she doesn't come back out. Instead they hear screaming and can't get into the bathroom because the door is locked. When the screaming stops and the parents come downstairs to see what happened, they go into the bathroom and find the sister in the shower stall.

From here there are two ways for it to go. In one, the sister has her eyes scratched out and she dies.

In the other, she is simply scratched around the eyes and all over her face and hands. They take to the hospital to get stitches and when they get back, the parents convince the older sister to go spend some time with the younger sister. The younger sister says that she talked to Mary and things were going to change.

In the second version the parents respond to screaming in half the time, but oddly enough there was twice as much blood.
