Jaden's back was resting gently against the base of a tree. His little sister sat comfotably in his lap as he red over her shoulder. Utashi's hands held the small notebook of poems in her hands, letting her brother read from them. The book her brother was previously reading was discarded to the side.
"You're such a good poet, Utashi," Jaden commented to his younger sibling with a smile though she couldn't see it. "Thank you..." She said softly, flipping the page so her brother could read the next one.

Isa was wondering around outside, lost in thought. It's her first time out, and she was a bit nervous since she hasn't met anyone yet. She didn't know whether or not her first encounter with someone would be an exciting one, or one that would cause her sorrow. Isa isn't one for sorrow. Just the thought of of being upset to the point of depression made her shiver. She was usually a happy, sweet child. She got so caught up in her thoughts, that she failed to notice Jaden and his sister by the tree. When she did catch sight of them, she slightly froze in place.

Utashi was the first to notice the girl. She blinked at the girl and shifted in her brothers grip. "Should we greet her, Brother?" Utashi asked as the slid a finger down the side of the page. Jaden, however, bit his bottom lip and didn't answer.
Utashi gave a small giggled and pushed herself from her brother's lap. She started walk over to the girl to talk to her, taking her brother in tow.

Isa's breath temporarily caught in her throat as she saw them coming towards her. When she was able to breathe, she gave them a small smile and walked ungracefully towards them, tripping in the process. "Ouch." She said, then looking up, embarrassed. "Ummm....hi?" She said, making it sound more like a question than needed.

Jaden held in a laugh as his sister walked over to the girl. Utashi held out her hand. "Are you alright?" Utashi asked softly with concern lacing her voice.
Jaden stood behind his sister without saying anything. He didn't like to speak, he was too shy. Utashi usually spoke more when someone was around them both.

Isa gave Utashi a smile and took her hand warmly. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you." She said. She took a quick glance at her brother and a soft blush played across her cheeks. She really wasn't good at this whole "lets go out and meet other people" thing. She tried her best to be polite. "Umm..I'm Isa. It's nice to meet you." She said, offering them another smile.

"I'm Utashi," The female said with a smile. She looked up at her brother expectantly. He bit his bottom lip for a second. "I... I'm... Jaden..." He said after pausing in between his greeting. Utashi gave a smile to the two of them.

"Hello Utashi," She said, pausing for a second, turning to the male, "Hello Jaden." She stood there for a moment, trying to decided what else she could say, but she was failing terribly at it. "So, umm...nice weather, huh?" She said, thinking of nothing else she could really say.

"The weather is great, I agree..." Utashi said with a happy smile. She paused for a second. "So Isa, what do you enjoy doing?" She asked. Jaden stayed quite, but glanced over to his book that he left in the shade of the tree.

"I see," Utashi commented. "What genre?" She asked refering to the books she liked. Jaden fidgeted and went to get his book off the ground. He didn't like mistreated books. He treked back to his sister and Isa after getting the book. He brushed a hand over his leather cover.

"Anything, as long as it has a good plot." She responded happily. She enjoyed talking about things that were fun to her. It was then she noticed the leather covered book in Jaden's hand. "May I ask what you are reading?" She asked, curious as to what her new acquaintances were interested in.

Jaden bit his bottom lip. A bad habbit on his part. "It's called 'La Mort.' Its a romance novel written in french. It's never been translated..." he said. Utashi giggled. She rarely ever heard long sentances from her brother. Unless it was about books of course.

"You speak French?" Isa asked, truly curious. She had never met anyone so..interesting, and someone who seemed to really like books as she does.

"I do a little," Jaden answered with a small smile and a nod. He was comfortable around this new girl, now. Utashi smiled since her brother wasn't too shy anymore.
