While it was hard to judge the time of day while underground, some were gifted with a natural, internal clock that kept perfect time. Well, near perfect. Let's say an approximation.
Sensing that it was morning, though there was no light flitering through the treetops...or the curtains of a window, the brightly-colored Fae shifted slightly in his sleep, slowly crawling out of a very deep, restful sleep. Still only half-awake, he depended on instinct and shifted closer to a nearby source of warmth. Arms already wrapped around this mysterious form, he sighed and smiled, nuzzling his face against something soft and warm.
Wait a minute...
Waking up more quickly now, he opened one eye curiously. That color...a muted, earthy brown...green leaves...
Nienna!
Cabel's mind clicked, immediately wide awake. The memories of the night before quickly rushed back as he noted his arms were wrapped around her waist. Smiling, he began nuzzling his love once more...then realized exactly what part of her he was nuzzling.
Blushing deeply, despite the actions of the night before, he shifted position and chuckled a bit at himself. Sighing contentedly, his arms now around her back and shoulders, he held her close, careful not to wake her up. He was happy to spend time holding her just like this as long as he could.

Nienna although she normally a morning person didn't wake this day. She was deep in sleep curled close to Cabel. Her mind replying over the night before. She seem so content with being in his arms she hadn't really thought of anything else.
Moving alittle her eyes fluttered alitte before then fell still again. Moving closer to him her hair fell alittle into her face. Her wings fluttered as she was slowly waking.

Cabel smiled warmly, letting her lie on his chest. He stroked her hair and back slowly and soothingly, enjoying the feeling of even this slight weight atop his body. Gently, so as not to wake her further, he reached up and brushed the hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear.
'So beautiful,' he thought to himself, unable to fight the constant smile that seemed to have plastered itself to his face. He leaned down and kissed her silky hair before settling back down into the warm bed. If this wasn't heaven on Telrunya, he didn't know what was.

She wouldn't have stirred,, but she felt the kiss. Opening her eyes slowly she blinks a few times as she yawns. Moaning she close them again trying to figure out where she was, moving her hand slowly she stop as she felt skin under her hand.
Opening her eyes she looks up smiling alittle even though she was hald asleep "Mmmm morning Cabel. For a moment I thought I was dreaming.." laying her head back down she runs her fingers over his arm as she recalled last night.
It wasn't a dream, it was very real and she couldn't be more alive then this moment. She didn't want to move, she just wanted to remain in his arms.

Cabel smiled warmly, still running his fingers through her hair. "Good morning, beautiful. And if you're dreaming, then so am I. I think we'd be having the same dream in that case."
Chuckling softly, he gave her a gentle squeeze. "Though, I hope we're not dreaming. That would mean we would have to wake up eventually, and I don't want to." That mischievious sparkle was back in his eye as well as a playful smirk on his face. Still holding Nienna close, he started trailing his fingertips lightly over her back. "I don't want to have to leave my sweet, perfect angel." Pausing for a moment with a lopsided grin, he laughed. "Err...Fae."

Shivering she cloese her eyes for a moment before opening them again "You know you make it hard to want to get up." Leaning up alittle she brushes a kiss over his lips "Mmm not that I want to...I want to stay right here." smiling she runs her fingers over his chest before placing them right over his heart.
She couldn't stop grinning, she knew she would for a very long time. Everything in her eyes was perfect, nothing would go right. Closing her eyes she sighs.

"Maybe I don't want you to get up. Ever think of that?" Cabel chuckled softly, placing one of his hands over hers, over his heart. This moment really was perfect. No. She was perfect.
A mischievious thought entered his mind and he couldn't resist its call. Leaning down towards her ear, he started whispering in a low voice.
"So...no regrets, my love?"

Closing her eyes she held her breath for a few second. Shivering she opens her eyes slowly shaking her head "No regrets, not ever. You?" lifting her hand she runs it though his hair slowly before she runs her fingers along his cheek.

Cabel gasped, feining shock. "Regrets?!? Never! Guardians forbid!" He could barely keep from laughing, though he was grinning like a loon. Of course, he had no regrets. He'd never regret what they had shared together. Of course, he was in too good of a mood to act serious right now. He felt like he was riding a high of endorphins.
Of course, he'd just woken up and hadn't been exercising...
...unless you counted last night.
Smirking, he gave Nienna a light kiss before snuggling with her once more. "How could I regret my time with you? We're one, remember?" He stroked her cheek tenderly with his fingertips, recalling the synchronization of their heartbeats.

Giggling she hugs Cabel close before she tilts her head towards his touch "Yea we are." laying her head on his chest she just listens to his heartbeat. A smile form across her lips that she knew would be there for days.
She was truely happy just to be with Cabel like this.

Cabel allowed himself a few more minutes to enjoy her warmth and sweetness before he started to move. "Could I get you something, my love? Breakfast in bed, perhaps? Only right that I be allowed to serve breakfast to such a vision of lovliness." He lifted her hand to his lips, delivering a tender kiss while flashing her a warm smile.

Laying her head on the fur pillow Nienna looks up at him thinking for a moment. She never really had anyone do that for her before, so she had no idea what to get. Brushing her bangs from her face her hair was around her as she bites her bottom lip "Alright, never had anyone do that for me before. So I'll let you decide on what to eat, so long as you join me again." smiling up at him she turns her hand that was in his, giving his hand a small squeeze.

Cabel smiled back, returning the squeeze. "Of course. I couldn't bear to leave your side for more than a moment, my love." Winking playfully, he slipped away with some reluctance and through the door. He took a moment to check in on Eudora and her new bunny friend, Shira, before breakfast. Despite the probably late hour of the morning, the two were still sleeping peacefully in what used to be Cabel's bed.
He supposed it was more Eudora's than his anymore.
Not that he was complaining about the change.
Chuckling softly to himself at the thought, he headed towards the kitchen and began pondering on breakfast. Nothing too heavy...and he wasn't much of a cook...not that he knew of at least. He'd keep it simple for today. He selected several types of fruit and a couple bowls. Taking a small paring knife, he started peeling and slicing the fruit into the bowls. Before too long, he had a very basic fruit salad prepared. It wasn't anything special, though it did smell good. And look good. Hoping Nienna would enjoy it, he picked up both bowls and headed back towards the bedroom.
"It's not much," he grinned, pushing the door open. "Hope you're not disappointed. At least it's healthy, right?" Laughing, he eagerly returned to Nienna's side, holding out one of the bowls to her.

Sitting up Nienna looks down at the bowl smiling "Its perfect Cabel, thank you so much." leaning over she brush her lips across his cheek. Relaxing next to him she lifts a piece of apple placing it into her mouth. To her this was better then anything else, course it didn't help that all she ate was fruits.
Pushing her hair from her face she arches her back alittle only to slightly wince "Being sore isn't fun, but then its the good kind. So I don't mind, its worth being sore." bluching she looks down at her bowl of fruit as she recalled last night.

"My pleasure," Cabel responded, eagerly setting into his own bowl of fruit. It made him happy beyond all measure just to see her smile like that.
Her next revelation, however...
Cabel turned almost as red as the apples he had sliced only minutes before. Placing his hand gently on her lower back, he frowned at Nienna in concern. "Are you...okay? I mean...I didn't hurt you, did I? I was trying not to. I am so sorry if I did..."
He was rambling now and he knew it.
