Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls are no more!!
These were actually 2 very smart, witty, well-written shows before they moved to the CW.
Veronica was just too smart-assed and just smart for audiences to handle. Kirsten Bell is a very good actress with a lot of range. Plus she's tiny and blonde and adorable. Cute as a bug.
The Gilmores were waaaaayyyy too caffeinated for most people to keep up with them, even their creators couldn't keep them using references that much in the end. They kind of remind me of me and my mom (hey Daelon). I think we're pretty close. We are BFFs too and we like cats. And coffee. 4laugh
Oh well, we all have to go sometime.... burning_eyes
Frak!!
Battlestar Galactica got the axe too. Frakkin' Cylons at SciFi!!!!!!!

Well, I haven't seen enough of Veronica Mars to get into it. As for Gilmore Girls, I think the show's storyline declined the last few seasons. I totally lost interest in watching it.

I disowned it after season 5. The moment Lorelai asked Luke to marry her was the last decent moment the show had. The creators left and even before that, it was in serious decline. So my DVDs end there, despite Daelon's protests that I should complete my collection.
VM is worth the effort if the show appeals to you in any way.

Yes, Nienna, collections ain't collections until they are complete. One must watch the bad ones to know they are truly bad, and appreciate the good ones all the more.

and too bad about BG, the remake was just too twisted to last, Cylons are Reptiles and Starbuck will forever be a MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
