What if Suikoden was an online game like world of warcraft? What would you guys think? For me, i think it would be pretty cool running around making your own character and having different runes, you could pick between mage, mercenary, knight, warrior, summoner, assasin and all that crazy stuff you can pick your hair and face, also eyes and wardrobe (you get new wardrobes on the way) and you can actully see them wearing it! oh and you could be different race, and pick if you want to be on the good side or bad side?
Wouldn't that be pretty awsome?

i dunno cause then there wouldnt really be much of a point to collecting 108 stars and the storylines would either be gone or not really impressing but thats just my opinion. of course there would be more sidequests and stuff like that but who would the main villian be and how much of an effect would s/he have on the story.

That would be awesome x3 lol (I believe there was a thread like this somewhere around here already though /=) But instead of collecting 108 stars, we should be able to gather groups of other players and go on quests and battle bosses and stuff. The existing 27 True Runes would not be in the hands of any player but NPCs instead. It would be pretty reckless to leave those things with crazy people like meh'n others ninja LOL~ But overall, it would be soooo frickin' awesome *O* !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It COULD be done really well, but knowing how MMOs are usually just cash cows, i doubt they'd put much effort.
Bad or good, if they didn't charge monthy I would DEFINITELY play. There are SO many cool careers to try... Gunner, Rune Sage, Treasure Hunter, Ninja/Spies, Dragon Knight... I foam at the mouth at the possibilities @.@
Aw, man... Now I'm imagining how it could turn out as a good game... 2 different nations in the middle of a conflict, and you can be part of either, there would be enemy territories where you can be killed by an opposing nations citizen at any time, making being a spy all the more deadly... They could set up a limit of 3 years, for one awesome suikoden like storyline played out in real time... And when the 3 years are up if people are still playing they could either come up with a new storyline, or let people play in the newfound state of the world. Now I crave a game that will never be crying

Dayum, I guess some people cracked the 'this was already done' whip before I even could...
Personally I don't like the idea, because a) it would only be released in Japan, and b) if it was, by some miracle, released over here, I would have to spend money on it, which is something I don't want to do.
