After meeting the tasty stallion and the probably would be tasty mare he'd not bothered to leave the area they both seemed so afraid of. The smell didn't bother him anymore, he'd gotten use to it after a few hours, and there were plenty of his favorite plants around. It seemed like the two leggers didn't come out this way and steal things from him.

It was like paradise, almost. Paradise would defiantly have more plants and a lot more water. After all some of the things left a bad taste in his mouth. The mushrooms mostly tasted horrible even if they did make him feel the best.

Shaking his head and trying to sniff out some water he plodded along though the dirt and trees. The stallion had said something about a stream somewhere around here.

It just so happened that the place from which the smells originated was Desdemona's personal haunting ground. She shared it with beasts of the field, who occasionally wound up being her meals as well. It was not as though they mattered. The only thing that mattered to her was the spread of Chaos. Evil, while absolutely fascinating, was nothing near as delicious as sheer, utter madness. Upside down, topsy turvy, twisted this way and that... yes, that was how she liked things to be. She so enjoyed leaving Soquili's minds in a state of shock. Mind games were fun, exciting. Blood baths? Now, those could be quite entertaining... but then again, what was another body strewn out across the plains, hmm?

A mess, that's what. Chuckling to herself, the Skinwalker stalked between the trees, scenting out the little mare and the stallion who had lingered. Interesting, but not as riveting as her usual subjects. What a pity. And they were gone before too long. Ah well. Somewhere along the lines, she'd managed to forge through a stream, ridding her body of a good deal of the death scent. She frowned. Now, that wasn't how she liked things to be. She enjoyed smelling of death and decay. It assisted the chaos. It toyed with the minds of those around her, troubling them with thoughts of where those scents might have come from. Ah, what a bother to be clean.

Shaking his head he leaned down and plucked a bright green front off a plant and stood up so he could munch happily on it. He could almost smell water now so he had to be at least almost close to the stream. Things seemed to be getting greener but that could have just been a side affect of colors blurring in his vision.

Too bad there wasn't someone to share this with. It was always so dull when he didn't have someone to talk to and play with. Perhaps he'd have to go find somewhere that there were more others for him to talk to. They could always use a little of his mind to take with them. A little madness to go along with their peaceful days.

Leaning back down he shuffled around in a bush for more hidden fronds. When he didn't find any he huffed and started poking his way forward.

Water could be quite irritating. Desdemona, fearsome though she was, was currently giving off the pleasing scent of a bed of roses. Well, comparatively speaking. The water and irritating weeds might as well have been roses. Wild flowers, pah. At least she'd managed to thoroughly destroy them in her bid to be rid of the water. Still, there was chaos to be handed about. Not a bad pursuit. Again, comparatively speaking. It was quite an ordinary, day to day thing for the Skinwalker. For another, gentler Soquili, that kind of 'job' might cause all sorts of problems.

Fortunately, she suffered from no conscience, and therefore did not concern herself with what she ought to be doing. Right now, what she 'ought' to be doing could range from anywhere between murder, and rampant destruction. All quite pleasant undertakings, if she were to be asked. Usually she wasn't. That was all to the good. Somewhere along the line, she paused in her travels, and realized that she was not alone. There was another nearby... someone who did not seem at all like her usual prey. Now, wasn't that intriguing? Almost curiously, the mare stalked over to stand somewhat closer to Obe, observing him from the distance of perhaps ten feet.

He ignored the presence of the mare for a while. Much more concerned with his hunt for ferns and perhaps a mushroom or two if the wet soil was to say anything about what might grow down here. Unless she was going to be of use to him he figured that she could wait for a while. After all she didn't smell like she belonged here any more than the other two from before did.

Snorting at another pile of plants that offered him nothing he straightened up and giggled slightly. There were some dead leaves stuck in his mane but a good shake and another giggle and they were gone.

A low, rich, cold laugh flowed out of her throat as Desdemona observed the way the stallion treated her, carrying with it the scent of death. Perhaps the water had managed to wash her pelt, but it had certainly failed to take away from the smell of her breath. "Helping yourself to the foliage on my trees, I take it?" The sound of her voice would have brought chills to any sensible creature. However, given his behavior, she did not expect Obe to be sensible. "Tell me... just what sort of stallion had found his way into my web, hmm?" Was he predator or prey? Then again... the first title generally did not trouble her. Not at all. She was quite capable of dealing with those who fancied themselves her equal. Fortunately for them both, the blood lust didn't call too strongly. Not yet. Not when there were only two of them, he and her. Had there been others, well, things would have been different, but for now he was safe. Safe enough.

"There's nothing on the trees i want." He stuck his nose into another low pile of bushes and grinned happily when he found what he was looking for. Pulling up most of the plant he munched happily. Picking his head up he looked at her after a moment.

Fuzzy. "I want these ... and they are mine." Anyone who tried to tell him different generally found themselves agreeing with him after a time. After all you didn't keep the likes of him from anything he desired unless you desired to be dead. "Sort? I don't think you care what sort." He met her eyes for a moment before he started giggling again.

The same could be said of Desdemona. Keeping her from her desires, or sometimes even being her desire, could be quite fatal. "Truly. And you are aware that you are wandering within a Skinwalker's territory?" She raised an eyebrow, feeling the blood rage move beneath her skin. It lit up her eyes like hellfire, making them glow in a completely unnatural way. But there was no threat to her tone. Not yet. She had no intention of being threatening unless there seemed to be a reason. "Tell me, do those ferns taste as good as that little green stallion you chewed on earlier?" For that was what she was almost certain she'd seen only minutes before. It had been followed by the splashing and the irritating lack of smell. But that had its own purpose, as well. Sometimes it was good to get the drop on her prey.

"Better, oh so much better." His eyes glazed for a moment as he concentrated on the feeling's running though his body. "He tasted like .... well like him and these." He leaned down to pick up another mouthful of leaves. "These are like nothing else. They make the world like nothing else."

His head tilted slightly. "I should have nibbled on her too. She might have tasted better, what do you think?" She seemed like she'd know after all she was one of them. He'd never met one but he'd heard. Sadly she didn't look as dangerous as the stories.

Stories could be deceiving. However, these particular stories were quite on the mark. It was unfortunate that currently appearances were deceiving, but time would remake what a little bit of wet had undone. "She might have. Generally, I don't tend to n** quite so gently as you seem to. Had I nibbled on her, she might have wound up missing a bit more than her dignity." While Desdemona did not generally eat other Soquili, it was not because she lacked the taste for it. Oh no. It was because she thoroughly enjoyed making an absolute wreck of them, and sending their remains flying all over the place. Messy. A rather intimidating sign that told others to stay the hell away from her. Apparently this stallion had missed it, or else he just did not care. "I think she might have made the most fascinating noises, though. I do so enjoy it when they cry out in fear, and pain."

"It's better when they can't talk." He nibbled some more leaves before he shook himself out. "When their minds are so cracked that they can't form any sort of thought beyond the circling bits as they try to make sense of what you're telling them and what has become of their brain." He was silent a moment before he giggled again.

Life was so much more fun when you could shatter another's view of the world and leave them to pick up the pieces and try to fit them back into place. It always ended up leaving a piece missing that they'd think about for the rest of their lives.

"That is a rather intriguing thought." Desdemona quite enjoyed breaking the minds of others. "Although, I have actually done that before, come to think of it." She mused, considering his words. Generally she ignored what others had to say as being irrelevant, but why not? He certainly did not act in a 'normal' way. "Still, there is much to be said for pain that causes screams. Screams tend to keep Soquili out of my way, or draw 'rescuers', who then find themselves in need of rescuing." Now, that was another interesting thought. When she wished to spread the Chaos, the Skinwalker tended to simply talk. Talking freaked out the vast majority of individuals.

He tilted his head slightly and giggled. "When one looks of something that often eats those of our persuasion then i suppose pain would be far easier." It was surprising that his mind was holding up this long despite how much he'd eaten that day. It would only be a matter of time before he dissolved into a useless mass of flesh.

"Not so scary myself .... no one worries about a walking skeleton." Unless they were foals perhaps. Most didn't think there was anything to be frightened of with him until they realized he could shatter whatever perceptions of their lives they held.
