I had to make this. I love Karl! (Ya know, Alex's boyfriend) He's so dorky but it's so cute! 3nodding
And, well, I figured since you made a thread for Vincent, one for Karl wouldn't be bad, is it?

For a traitor-other he's pretty awesome. I think he and Alex are cute. I wonder what Ben's problem is with him? Its gotta go beyond being a dad.
Ben: now alex, you can do whatever you want. Aid our enemies, run off, trap people, sabatoge us but do not, I repeat, DO NOT go out with Karl!
Alex: and if I do? *disrespectful rebeliousness*
Ben: its room 23 for him!
Karl is currently my back-up back-up third favorite character my favorites being in this order:
1. Ben, 2. Mikhail, 3. Tom, Back-up . Charlie, Back-up Back-up. Karl, Back-up Back-up Back-up. Juliet
You see, I hear alot of people die in the season finale and I need back ups. You see Charlie was #3 until last episode when he did it with two women in a flashback O_o. Tom took his place because he was the back up. If Mikhail dies Tom takes his place and so on. This has little to do with Karl but I kinda wanted to explain it because my mom has stopped listening to my lost rants.

Yeah, I wonder why Ben hates him... But Ben isn't Alex's real father, well, I think. Karl's so cute. But he's a dorky cutesy cute. I love him!!! Him and Alex are very cute together, I do admit.

Surrogate or Biological, Ben loves Alex as if he were her father, the reason he hates Karl could logically be because of Alex, it just doesn't seem right. He seems a bit clumsy, mabey he messed something up and something went wrong?

That's a good theory. Karl seems like that kid that'll get into stuff. BUT HE'S SOOO CUTE!!!
I don't see the love Ben shows for Alex, does he?

tbs.hellogoodbye That's a good theory. Karl seems like that kid that'll get into stuff. BUT HE'S SOOO CUTE!!! I don't see the love Ben shows for Alex, does he? He has dozens of pictures of her in his house, either he's showing fatherly love, or its something else. Plus, he sure lets her get away with alot and he seems at least a little hurt by her apparent hatred towards him.

Alex: You locked Karl in a cage then put him in a room and tried to brainwash him! Ben: I didn't want him to get you pregnant. I suppose I over reacted. Now if that isn't fatherly love I don't know what is! Also, I think Karl (getting back to Karl) is still a loyal 'other'. I think this because of Karl's reluctance to warn the Losties when Alex told him that they were being attacked that night. It was only when Alex told him that the others were going to kill them that he agreed to go. So in the finale, Karl was standing beside Ben when he was tied to the tree. If Ben told him to do something, I bet he would do it.
