So we've all talked about being emo, insulted emo and even the effects of being emo, but what attracted y'all to it, over similar sub-cultures, such as Metal (angry outwardly at the world), Goth (angsty outwordly to the world) or even Rap (Angry and angsty outwardly at the state of the world and it oppression of your freedoms).

What was the base attraction to the emo culture and why did you feel you had to ingrain yourself so much into it?

Because people are sheep and think originality is waiting until someone else wears that outfit or shops in that store.

The music and the style =]

Its a bad case of lets all be unique together and then copy people exactly. Some bands are ok but some are absolutely shithouse *cough hawthorn heights cough*.

To be honest, i found this guild because i thought it would be funny if they had a guild for chavs so i started searching random names in the guilds and found this, then i read some of the threads, wanted to reply to some so i joined . . .

I'd pick you over a chav any day.

every time i was in the middle of a discussion and have it brutally beaten with a stick by people who cant stay on topic for more then a minute(quite alot)
and ill stop if people can stay on topic till a conversation is finished
