Welcome to HELL...Literally
Setting
Hell of course. You have, in some way, been trapped in hell. There are six levels in hell. All of them have their own unique place for tormenting people. You may start off in hell according to what sin you have committed or what punishment you have been subjected to...or if you are one of the demons in hell you may start off there. More on the 7 levels of hell soon.
Storyline
You make your own story. There really isn't a main storyline. You have your own goals and own needs. I'm totally letting you have free control over this.
Rules
Follow the Gaia Tos of course...
You can have whatever you want in here. Just...
-have at least one paragraph per post
-don't excessively curse
-don't be a godmodder
-you can have romance, just don't let it get intense (i.e. sex)
Just a fair warning: Godmodders are going to be immediately asked to leave the rp. If you don't leave and you continue to god mod I will take to the higher ups.

I am able to infect the enemy with both my bite and my bow and arrow. I am able to fly far distances and slither quite quickly to and fro. I can constrict the enemy as well and spit acid from my mouth and hands. Description: I am part snake, part man, part crow. I have black wings sprouting from my back. From the torso down I am a black snake. I have blood red eyes and scales line my forearms. Spikes made of bone line my back going all the way down to the tip of my tail and my forearms as well. My fangs are great and are coated in poison. My hair is shaggy black with small horns coming out of them. Personality: I am very humble to myself and often do as I am told. I obey what orders are given to me and do not question them. I have total loyalty to Lucifer. However, I am often rude and arrogant towards other demons who annoy me. I try to do my job well and relay messages back and forth. I do not bother with stupid demons and try to ignore them. Normally, I'm very nice but have to act evil when I'm torturing souls. I try to get things done exactly the way they are, but if an order is strange, then I question it. History: I don't really have much of a history...I was born here under hell fire and wickedness...I am born to serve under the rule of Lucifer. Her only weapon is a katana infused with the flames of hell’s fires. Description: Amaya appears as if she was an eighteen-year-old human. She has long, flowing fire red hair, which reach down to her knees. She usually has it in a high ponytail. Her eyes are a deep burgundy and her skin is quite pale. At her neck she has a lacy-like white collar, which spreads out, to her sides, leaving her shoulders bare. A brown tube top covers her torso. At her hips her katana lays within its brown sheathing. Her left arm is covered from the fingers up to her shoulder by brown fabric. On her right arm she has a brown glove and just below her shoulder she has a brown ring of fabric. Brown boots covers her feet. Personality: Amaya can seem quite nice from time to time, although that is usually only when she has to stay with the lustful. Usually though, she’s rather bored and can seem sloth-like. She can have a bad attitude if you bother her enough but the times she is only truly evil is when she tortures those from the higher levels. Those times are hardly ever though as she is usually stuck in the first level. History: Amaya was originally a human, and an evil one at that. She was born quite some time before the Europeans even discovered North America. From what she can recall, she thought that she was to be tortured for all eternity, not that it even mattered, she didn’t care. Although when she did come to hell she had committed so many crimes that there was no place for her in the levels. She had basically become a demon the moment she had stepped in. Her punishment was to serve Lucifer, which she still hates. And he sent her to the one place where she would be bored out of her mind, the first level. Torturing was impossible, well physically at least and she hates it so much. Although time-to-time she manages to sneak up to the six level of hell and have some fun. The way she handles her job though (which happens to be part of her punishment) is to actually have to go in the maze and lead them farther in. Most of the lustful are males and she hates it because she has to be the bait to make them go farther in. With that, she always has to act like some kind person, just waiting for them to come. It sickens her. Her eyes are gold and her hair is short, black, and often messy. She wears a big raggedy black shirt which looks more like an oversized, badly sewn dress on her small form. Personality: Cheerful, enthusiastic, and insane. Also sweet, naiive and amoral. Plus, did I mention this before? Completely cuckoo. History: Born a human, went crazy as a human, died as a human. There was a bit of a struggle figuring out which side should claim her, hell or heaven. The problem was that although she'd done a bunch of horrible stuff during her short life, she also hadn't known that stuff was wrong. Before her insanity, she had a spotless record and it was predicted that after she attained a little maturity, she'd grow up into a saint of some sort. Afterwards... her perception of right and wrong was totally warped to the point where she couldn't really see the difference. Further complicating the case was that her insanity was completely not her fault. Not even heaven could say she had had a snowball's chance in hell of avoiding her insanity. It was more or less forced on her. In the end, hell won the case due to the fact that she was completely unrepentant and still had no idea that she'd done anything wrong, no matter what the angels said to her. It just didn't seem to compute in her head for some reason. After she got to hell though, there were more problems. They couldn't figure out which level to put her on. She was waay too young for Lust. She wasn't that attached to material possessions either so Gluttony, Greed, and Envy were out. She was consistently cheerfully energetic so Sloth was also a no go. She'd killed many people, and tortured many more, but never in Wrath. She also had pride, but it was wholly innocent pride, for example, pride in a deed well done. She'd never heard about God so she couldn't really be accused of putting herself before him either. She was also somewhat vain, but only in the manner of most small children who believe they are the center of the universe and everyone loves them simply because they are who they are. In the end, since they really, truly, had absolutely no idea where to put her now they'd won her from heaven on a techicality, they decided to just make her a demon and turn her loose after carefully explaining to her that she wasn't to mass slaughter any demons, but humans were fine since they were already dead and they came back no matter what you did to them. Of course, in order for Tanya to actually understand that explanation, they had to use some of her terminology. Namely... "Okay, you see those people over there? They're toys alright? Toys. You're can play with them as much as you want, in fact, please play with them as much as possible. However, these people here are... um... friends. Right, or at least potential friends okay? You can play with the toys together. Remember now, your potential friends are not toys." That said, Tanya skipped off with a minimum of confusion, and hell got itself a new demon. LightXavier Gaia name: LightXavier Character name: Hearth Age: around 18-19 Gender: male Sinner or Demon?: Sinner Sinner...what is your sin?: Mass murder Description: Hearth has dark silky hair, along with matching charcoal eyes and a pale complexion. He wears mostly black-a black, torn up jacket, black shirt, and black cargo pants. On his neck is a feather which he had found on the ground (it is believed to be Lucifer’s and the reason as to why he is keeping it is unknown) tied to a long necklace. Hearth also has spike and burn marks located throughout his body, mostly on his chest and back. Personality: Hearth holds a very silent type of personality. At tends to space out, and is very unresponsive at most times. Hearth is also very intelligent and keen despite his silent appearance. But the boy also holds an ‘other’ side to him. This side is known to be very murderous, malicious, and clever. Though, since Hearth arrived in Hell, his other side hasn’t ever been released. This other side is also the one guiding the impassive teen throughout Hell. History: Hearth was born to a very abusive lifestyle. He belonged to a very prestigious family, and was proclaimed to be the ‘black sheep’. Unlike most of his family, Hearth was very, very intelligent in school and in extracurricular activities. Hearth’s ‘perfection’ though, gained a huge reputation. Because of it, he was picked on frequently, and he would always fight back. He also had a very fowl attitude towards his ‘perfect’ parents and siblings, and he often ran way from home to do what he had loved most, paint, something his parents wouldn’t allow. His actions both in and out of the home thus gained the massive abuse and torture by his family. It wasn’t until his ‘other’ side had been created after one of his beatings. It had told him to destroy everything that had hurt him, and in the end, Hearth obeyed. His whole family was massacred, along with most of the student population in his school. At this point, his ‘other’ side surfaced, killing many of the innocent who often stood in their way of Hearth’s goal to be a recognized painter. Hearth, unfortunately within due time, was caught by the police and executed. He is currently found residing on the 5th level of hell.

The Seven Levels of Hell
Welcome to Hell...the most tormented place in this plane of existence!
There are seven level in hell, each with their own unique and ironic punishment for the Damned. Each level is centered around one of Seven Deadly Sins.
Entrance
This is where the gate of hell is. A massive door that has been open for years and years. A river of black sludge is in between the gate and the entrance. This river is called skelus exemplar. A man stands before the river with a hot poker. His name is Dedecus. The Damned stand in a line chained to the ground by the hands of lesser demons who also nibble at their feet. Once you are to be taken across the river to Hell, Dedecus sees into your soul and sees what ruling has been made about where you are to go and what punishment you are to recieve.
A Judge stands next to Dedecus and holds a great tome. He gives you your punishment according to your memories and soul. Both of these figures are overshadowed by great cloaks.
Once you are given your punishment, Dedecus takes you across the river and into hell. Once you are in hell, you are transported by hell fire to the level of your punishment.
The First Level of Hell
The First Level of Hell deals with the Sin of Lust. Those who are punished here are often subject to ironic punishments. They are trapped in corridors and know that some sexually appealing person is at the end, but they never get there. The tormented is always running with a mind full of lust and getting more and more trapped in corridors...they never get where they want to. Demons follow the Lustful and make sure they keep running. They keep their minds and bodies going with false promises of beautiful and sexually appealling people at the end when there really not there.
The Second Level of Hell
This is the level where Gluttonous heathens are punished. Gluttony pertains to really an excess of anything...from food and drink to drugs and money. The Damned are set on a low ground and their feet are anchored to the ground with ropes made of rotting flesh. The substance they desire so much are held high above by demons of all kinds and shapes and forms. The demons taunt them and occasionally make them suffer by putting them under torment of knives and plagues. The Damned constantly try to reach for what they want, but they never get it.
The Third Level of Hell
The Greedy are punished here. Like Lust and Gluttony, Greed deals with anything in excess. If you were an intense drug dealer or an infamous thief or anything to do with that, you are punished here. The Greedy are constantly being eaten at while being chained down. This is to show that Greed can overcome you and eat you alive. In this case, we are taking it quite literally. Various demons nibble your toes, eat you from the inside, make holes in your body...you get the idea. The demons tend to do it slowly and painfully, adding acid and spices as they go. While you are being eaten alive, you are also being stretched on the rack.
The Fourth Level of Hell
The Slothful reside here. Those who neglected to go to church regularly, go to confession at least twice a month, or neglect doing any Christian like services are punished here. Also, many who failed to love God and were simply depressed belong here. The Slothful are made to constantly push a boulder on all fours. The boulder bears the weight of their sadness and depression. The ground which they crawl on has hot coals to make then go faster. However, when they reach the top they are merely pushed back down by demons who taunt them. If the slothful stop moving then the boulder only becomes heavier and lesser demons begin to eat away at their feet and hands.
The Fifth Level of Hell
The Wrathful are punished here. Those who abused, killed, hated, and wrought vengeance are here. Vigilantes, cannibals, and mass killers are here as well. The Wrathful have a constant burning sensation in their bodies caused by their own wrathful feelings eating away at them. They will wish for water and forgiveness, but the water they seeks are constantly out of reach. They are held and restricted by being gouged on spikes. While they are gouged in many places of the body demons beat them repeatedly and hot lava is poured down their throats furthering the desire for water.
The Sixth Level of Hell
The Envious reside here. Those who sought after land and money and other people's fortune ruthlessly are punished here. Their eyes and mouth are sewed shut so they may not seek other's fortune for themselves. While they are in this state, the Envious are whipped, dragged, and finally burned inside a coffin. This is to purge them of evil needs by showing them that they do not need what other's have. While they are being tortured demons eat away at their tongues and eyes slowly and painfully...making sure that they don't want anything from anyone else again.
The Seventh Level of Hell
The Prideful, the vain, the supremacists, the lovers of thy self, and the self proclaimed gods are punished here. The Prideful are forced to be blind folded and gagged. After, they are forced to crawl and do slave's work while being whipped, beaten, nailed in different places, raped, and all sorts of nasty things. Those who put themselves before God are given even worse treatment. The Prideful spread seeds of sin and hate throughout the grounds and tend to them...all while being beaten of course. Some are even forced to be set on fire or be beheaded and still do slave's work.
Lucifer
The king of fallen angels resides in the center of the Seventh Level of Hell. He is merely an angel with six black wings and sits upon a throne. He wears a mask of permanent happiness, jewelery made of the souls of the damned from various places of hell, and only a black roman robe. Curled back goat horns replace his halo. His arm and legs are scaly and a snake constantly curls himself around Lucifer's body. His throne sits upon a steep mountain in the center of the Seventh Level of Hell, so that he may watch upon all who reside in it. Various demons tell him of happenings regularly.

Illius is now currently doing his job. All seems well. He's keeping his designated Damned running in the corridors of the First Level of Hell and it's going rather smoothly. The poor fool doesn't even realize that there is no end to the corridors. Illius sighs. He wished he had a better job. All the other demons get to torture people...Illius has to chase a mad and lustful fool around.
He was hoping that the next demon would come and take his shift already.

Amaya took her sweet time heading for the first level of hell; she was enjoying her time torturing those in the sixth level. If it hadn’t been for the fact that she had to go and do her damned job, she’d be staying there and watching the sinful souls squirm within themselves, wanting what they could not have, not that they knew it. As far as they knew, after they went through the torture, they’d have what they wish for although Amaya knew better. She was one of the lucky ones who had made it to hell, if you could call her punishment that. She was forced to work as a slave, doing what her master wished and only getting her time to herself when she had finished her deeds and snuck off to areas that she should not be in.
She smiled as she passed through the fourth level, she enjoyed watching them suffer, so much that she could hardly contain herself. With a sigh though, she calmed herself down. It was time to act like a professional, well professional mental torturer that was. The thought of being down in that pit with the sinful, watching them chase after her as if she was some prize…she clutched her fists. If only she could kill them, then, then she wouldn’t have to be in this hell. She laughed as she passed through the third level, heading for the second. There was no way she could leave this hell, even if she killed them. There would be more and more who kept coming in. She’d be stuck as the rest of them, ‘alive’ in this hell, being tortured for all eternity.
She passed through the second level, almost reaching the first. The only difference between her and the sinful was that she had the choice of doing the torturing, they did not. She sighed, trying to get all laughter out of her system. It was time to be sweet, caring and, she shivered, a ‘prize’ to those within the pit. She came through to the first level, looking this way and that until she spotted the other part timer. They switched from time to time, although it was her turn. For the next little while she’d be in control of them.
