i was sitting in class and a thought hit me. can magick be elemental in the sence that we can arrange it into formulas? i mean like... ok, example.
EX: you do somehting like, i dont know make a ball of fire(just and example. dunno if you can/'t do this)
in a sence, youd use a formula to do that right? so what if you made it like composit(dont recall what the type of reaction is) so you replace one element of the spell with another element all together?
Ex: you take air, super heat it, make fire ball. make it composite by takeing air, freezing it, makeing something diffrent like a new spell.
would this make any sense?
baiscly, what im asking: can magick be elemental in that way?

so far i havent made much progress. shortly i will be attemting symbiotic reactions and decomposition reactions. if i make any progress(or if nothing happens) ill inform everyone. if all goes well and i was right, then i will later on attemt double replacement reactions ect.

um... so far in research here was a bump in the road but to my understanding, its perfectly possible to take or introduce elemnts from or into a spell to 'mutate' it.. my experiments so far show that though its possible its highly recomended by myself and my assisstants NOT to do it unless your moderately to highly experienced in psionics, magick, or both.... in the simpleist terms possible, you could f**k up.

You mean, could magick be broken down into simple formulae? I guess you could sure try, that's kind of how I use symbols and sigils, and how I intend to make Thaumaturgic Alchemy work.
It's certainly a neat idea, though. You could always try finding out the formulae yourself, then testing to see if they work; if they do, then the answer, obviously, is that it's possible. X3

I think folk on your friends list get Navy Blue usernames instead of Default Black ones when they post, or something. Maybe. Possibly. I dunno. D:

That's an interesting idea. i certainly thought it would be interesting but im not sure its possible because i always thought (or it seemed like everyone was behind the idea that) that magick was less of a formula and more of something along the lines of a symbiotic relation ship between the elements of a spell. so i think if i tried to change anything it would colaps on itself which could be potentionaly bad/dangerous. i think ill take precautions to find out but that indeed would be a good thing to know if it does colaps becasue that could potentialy help in situations like someone useing magick against you. anyway, i have to research it a bit more so that i can make some kind of break through or get to an answer. oh, [BLK]-cat, no your eyes arent screwing with you but that is a bit off topic. lol.

I would suggest that a "table of magickal elements" could simply be seen as a table of correspondances.
