 It was just another ordinary day. Which was what made it even more extraordinary. Tay grinned smugly to herself as she pranced along with her head held high in the air and her little foal's tail waggling about, as it always did when she was happy or excited. She had managed to sneak away from Chayton while he had busied himself doing... well, he had been doing something! Tay had made sure of that herself! Well perhaps she hadn't had anything whatsoever to do with the fact that something just seemed to so conveniently occupy him, but whatever it had been and bought her just enough time to slip away from the teepee. Chayton didn't much like her just leaving without him knowing. He threw a fit every time she did it, but that didn't stop her from doing it any way. It wasn't like she got lost.
As the little foal danced along through the long grass, she hummed gently to herself, loving the world revolving around her. Whenever she was out near the open fields all on her own, she felt music in her head that she just had the urge to sing. The vastness of the plains never ceased to amaze her, and today was no different. Every time she was here, she felt as if she were drowning in the raw, untamed power that was nature. And she loved it. Oh, yes she did.

 Marie nibbled on some of the long grasses of the field , her long legs were hidden in the grass as she stood confidently were she was , she observed a few passing birds, and she also noticed strnge movement in the grasses not too far away, immeadtly she went back to grazing , always keeping her eye on the moving thing not too far off from her.
She grumbled as she heard a loud falcon 'caw' burst through the fields. "Man, those things are so annoying, why cant they just go do that were people actually like it?" She took another mouthful of tall grass into her mouth and continued to mumble to herself.

She had sidled close enough to the strange Soquili to hear what she'd said. "Well, maybe they don't realize they're annoying," She piped up. Tay loved the world, and she never let up the chance to show off her knowledge about everything her beloved home contained. "They're not trying to be annoying, you know." She added, nodding sagely as she took yet another unobtrusive step closer. She watched as the older Soquili pulled at the grass, and sniffed at the weedy plants herself. And... what was so delicious about grass? She didn't really understand. Why grass when there was so much more to eat than the bland green stalks swaying about aimlessly in the wind?

Marie looked down at the foal who had been speaking. She chuckled at the little one's love for the planet and her knowledge of it already. "Little one, they dont try to be annoying , but they still are to me, well , i guess there only annoying cause im not used to it." She smirked and tried not to let her bitchy attitude she usually has to burst out, she knew the little one was only a foal.

Tay shrugged as she let her gaze wander a little. "Well, I guess that might be true. But you can't really blame them, can you?" Her voice was riddled with a sort of awe for the vastness of her surroundings, so that it sounded almost distant and vague, as if her body was there physically, but her soul was not.
But that didn't quite matter. Her ears were pricked and focused on the blonde-maned Soquili before her. As the little brown foal loved to say, she didn't listen with her eyes. So it was that she let them wander, and often gave the impression that she wasn't listening. But one only had to take a quick look at her ears to be able to tell what she was focusing on. The foal's mind liked to wander, and to some it seemed that it was in a state of perpetual lostness. It didn't quite work that way, though. Many times when her mind wandered off, it would float up and hang just above herself and whomever she was conversing with, and in a way, her wild imagination would allow her to look down at herself and the other, talking away as if she were a seperate entity.

"I suppose i cant." Marie said with a chuckle, looking toward the foal. " So where are your parents little one?" She asked as she titled her head in curiousity.

"Well, I don't live with 'em." She said brightly. "And Chayton was... uhm... well, busy, I guess, an' he didn't need me so I just went exploring. It's more fun than sitting back at the teepee, anyway. There's not much to do by a lake, specially when you're all alone."
She seemed to ponder this for a moment. "I don't suppose Chay will be very happy with me, though. But then that's the fun, innit?"

Marie nodded. "I suppose so." She yawned for a moment. " Being alone isnt always bad, there isnt anyone to hold you down if your alone." She lifted her chin trying to look somewhat wiser then she was. "Ehhh..." She blinked. "Ails and i dont get along much, she's too concerned on how she looks or how i look." Marie said looking angered and still staring at the pins in her hair.
