War of the Worlds
The towers have ravaged many of the shinobi nations. Konoha has suffered major losses. Sand hasn't fared much better. Cloud was able to minimize losses, but the potential power of the enemy was too big a risk to ignore. Other nations have joined in against the common threat. Rivalries and grudges aside, this shinobi task force will determine the fate of their nations, their villages, their homes. The War of the Worlds has begun.((a.k.a. Komm getting the chance to use all his characters in the biggest butt-kicking the RPing world will ever see...))

arrow Rendezvous Point
::A remote location located near the border of Leaf and Sand. A forest provides some cover and there is a stream nearby::
*Being the first to arrive, Konoha would be in charge of setting up base camp from which their war operations will be carried out. It is also a place for reinforcements to come to. Some genjutsu/ninjutsu specialists that came along would be in charge of concealing the location of the base from the enemy.*
*The first group, including Shunketsu, secured the area. All that was left was to await for the others to arrive and devise a battle strategy.*

arrow Waypoint - Leaf 2
Kotai and Hinata's group arrived shortly after Shunketsu's group began to prepare the site. Scarves tucked neatly behind him, Kotai landed dead-center of the soon-to-be camp, followed closely by Hinata and their escort. With the perimeter already secured, all that was left was simply to section off where the teams would be staying and set up accordingly.
Kotai pulled a large bundle from his back and headed over to the Norwes' corner of the clearing. He set it down and began preparing Konoha's barracks tent. It would take a few minutes, as the camoflauged canvas was actually rather large, easily able to accomodate the two Konoha teams. As soon as he was done there, he set about putting up the officers' tent, for the mission leaders.
Akimichi Borona and Akimichi Yamaro set up the general mess hall, and began stocking it from the compact refrigerators they carried with them.
Quickly and effeciently did the ninja work to prepare.

arrow Waypoint - Sand 1
The group from Hidden Sand appeared in a timely fashion, as basic arrangements had been made due to Hidden Leaf's preparations.
Iwachiri Odari, the SAWA in command of the Sand tactical unit and current mission leader for the Sand, strode into the camp trailing an arid wind behind him into the forested area.
The rest of the team waited in the eaves of the camp, and Areno was with them, looking apprehensive. It was the first time since Academy he was out in the world again, away from the desert, and once again in the company other countries' ninja.
Odari gave them a single motion after speaking quickly with a trim Jounin not much older than Areno himself, a man with sandy hair and flowing scarves, who seemed to be handling organization.
The Sand force filed in quietly, nodding neutrally to their former enemies, the Leaf-nin around them. Indeed, some of the veterans on both sides had fought each other before, killed one another's teammates, friends, or family, but as ninja, all that mattered was the mission on hand, and to the Sand's credit, old prejudices didn't slow them down as they began to set up their own tent on the Souwest corner.

arrow Waypoint, Stone 1 and 2
It hadn't taken but about an hour. Between jutsu and hoofing it, the Stone squads arrived quickly. Each squad had six members; The first squad consisted of Shuten, a Medical Jounin, another Jounin, two Chuunin, and an ANBU. The second squad consisted of a Jounin leader, a Medical Jounin, Three Chuunin, and an ANBU. Group 1 began the process of setting up the main dwelling tent for the teams, while Group 2 began putting up a seperate tent to house anyone in need of medical treatment, Stone or otherwise if an assault were to come to the camp itself.
Shuten removes his armor helm, and holds it under his arm during all this. he himself is scanning the terrain..everything around him. He's looking for possible entry routes, escape routes, where others would hide or flee to..he's a war specialist, not a labor camp worker..let the others set up tents. He's here to do strategy, kick a**, and get women. He nods to each team leader for each village if they happen to be in sight, but doesn't bother acknowledging anyone else. They're beneath his notice.

arrow Waypoint - Grass 1 and Grass 2
Not but a few minutes after Stone had prepared their quarters did Teki show up with two full squads of Grass-nin behind him. The Grass ANBU was exceedingly difficult to look at, as he seemed to blend in with everything around him, including tents and people... the eye would simply veer away from wherever he happened to be at the moment. This would only last for so long, however, as he quickly deactivated his camoskin to make his presence obvious.
Teki met with the mission organizer, a man not much younger than himself who went by the name of Kotai. "We did not expect to be provided for, that is something we are more than capable of doing ourselves. We merely came to honor our alliance with the Leaf and to show our support." Teki bowed once and then dismissed the Iteza to the eaves, to keep a constant perimeter for hundreds of yards away from camp... sneaking up on an Iteza Protector was impossible, and they each had a range spanning up to half of a mile.
The Grass medi-nins came prepared, three of them went to aid in the mess hall, growing and cooking fruits and vegetables to keep down the taste of normal mission rations.
The other three set up a medical tent and wished to meet with the medical ninja of the other nations, to compare notes. This would be helpful if any medical ninja died, so that others would know what to do for their country's ninja.
No Grass ninja carried a tent, and it became reasonably understandable why as Teki set up his. He made three motions with his hands, bringing up vines and xylem from the ground into a conical-like structure that blended in perfectly with the earth and roots it was made of. He had no need to retire to it at the moment, so he removed himself to the officers' tent with the others.

Helping with inventory stock checks with his notepad and pencil, Edge worked alongside his superiors to ensure they were suffiently equipped for the mission. This was the best he could do for the time being still only a Genin but he knew even the smallest jobs were important. If they were ill prepared the results would not be in their favour. Each tick of a box felt like a countdown to their eventual departure. After this errand he would need to head over to the next tent to begin checking over the medical suppiles and hand over the forms to a superior to be double checked. It was times like these he wished he invested in a better erasor in case of error.

*Shunkets, Saeko, and Hoshi waited in the officer's tent. Hoshi and Saeko had revealed to Shunketsu most, if not all, of the details surrounding the enemy base. Shunketsu was to brief the commanders of the situation and any other information that was known. All Shunketsu waited for now was confirmation that all the officers were present and ready.*
((I kinda lost track of who's here and if there's any more coming sweatdrop ))

The single Cloud squad arrived in the camp three hours later than Stone's, they filtered in as a small band, mission leader heading directly for the Officer's Tent, the command center of the camp.
Tetsujin and the others set up their meager tent and mostly kept to themselves. The other members of the Cloud squad were pretty taciturn, but Tetsujin found himself a nice patch of grass under a tree to lie in, where the sun could reach him. Ever since he'd reached the camp, he'd begun to feel a nagging pulling sensation on his head... nearly activating his Rihatsu several times.
"Na ja... a bit of rest'll fix that right up." He yawned widely and kept a peaceful eye on the camp... and the passing kunoichi.

Shuten wandered about, and finally lets the armor recede into its unsummoned form, leaving just his clothing, and the light under-armor. There had been a pulse a moment ago with the arrival of the new shinobi..but as to why, he had no idea. Still, it wouldn't do just to sit it out. Doing that was laziness, and that lets one's skills go to waste. Still, he passes by one of the chuunin in his squad on the way and gives her a smack right on the backside, which makes her jump and yelp. He just chuckles, and she sighs and shakes her head. He did this all the time..
Still, he frowns and wanders the camp. He needs to speak with the leaders..he knows next to nothing about this enemy, and a gathering this size merits knowing something. He'll speak with Leaf first..best to get THAT out of the way..and towards their section he walks.

"That took a while. Here is the inventory checklist." Edge handed over the paperwork to his supervisor before heading out of the tent for some fresh air. The inside of the tent was fairly stuffy and full of stale air. It didn't help that it was fairly small inside but as long as it did it's purpose of holding some needed items thats all that mattered. Finding a patch of grass nearby he quietly sat down and began to think about training his current jutsu when this was over.

::Hinata flopped down onto the ground for a moment, laying on her back to look up at the sky. For a breif time she ignored everything else but the sky, just watching the clouds as the floated by. Without sitting up she addressed Kotai::
Do you really think that there is any chance that we can get through this?
::the fell silent again, staring up at the clouds again::

Kotai set down the pad and pen he was taking notes on, and seated himself beside her with a thud. "Yes, yes I do. I don't think it'll be easy, but we will prevail." He looked over to Hinata with a weary smile. "We'd better, because this is a whole lot of work." He looked back when he sensed the presence of a number of ninja closing in on the camp. "Looks like Snow's finally here... time to get started, love." He hauled himself up and pointed to the Officers' Tent, heading into it himself.

Snow arrived soon after, bearing only a squad of combat-ready ninja. However, they fielded two squads of... how to say this... geek-ninjas, the scientists who were key to their victory over the foreign invaders. Snow mission leader instructed the others to set up tents and equipment for the scientists and engineers, while he went over to the Officers' Tent, also known as the command post.

::with a groan she heaved herself up to her feet and followed Kotai. She tired of all this fighting. She also did not see things going smoothly between all the other villages. They were going to have to act as much as moderators and peacemakers as they were going to have to act as warriors against their common enemy. Oh how she wished that things could just be easy::

*Shunketsu stood up as the village representatives took their positions around a map table...thing...*
"ehhem...As most of you know, the enemy we are up against isn't something we've come across before. They are powerful, and have technology that render ninjutsu and genjutsu techniques useless, not to mention a reinforced energy shield to withstand taijutsu. I'm sure a few of our villages have suffered many casualties as result of their attack. For those who have yet to be attacked by this menace, you're here now because you recognize either an alliance, or the need to wipe out something that holds the potential to end our way of life as we know it."
*Shunketsu took a spot around the map table thingy...*
"As our two defects have told me, the enemy has actually infiltrated this land for quite some time, gathering intelligence and recruits. They have built an extensive and heavily fortified base. The main entrance is right...here..."
*Shunketsu stuck a little flag on the map*
"the entrance is located in this gorge. There are very swift river rapids on the bottom and the cliffs are very steep. The rapids actually seem to be our only entrance point since I've been told that chakra sensors have been placed all along the cliffsides. Any attempt we make to scale the cliffs will lead to our detection. The base however, is not in the gorge, but rather in a deep underground chamber some distance in...There is a larger entrance, but it is an elevator shaft for their towers and are heavily monitored, not to mention we have no means of activating the elevator."
*Shunketsu took out an illustration of the entrance*
"The entrance path is actually pretty wide, wide enough for one of their bulky foot soldiers, armor and all. That means we'll have enough room to go 2 by 2 if anyone prefers. The door is reinforced and has several sensors on it. Cameras will also be set up around the door, but I'm sure we should be able to get around those. This is probably our best choice for entry point being that..."
*Saeko, one of the defects, holds up a key*
"we have a key...ehhem...after we get passed the door, it's actually a 10-15 minute walk until we reach the entrance hall...here is where things get really difficult, for there will actually be security guards here and we will most likely trip some kind of alarm. I'll leave it to you village representatives to decide on an infiltration plan."
*Shunketsu then takes out illustrations of the cloaked figures and the foot soldiers*
"As for the enemies, here are the two known categories. First we have the uniform foot soldier. They are clad in bulky armor and apparently used to be nin themselves, some of them probably from our own villages. They are being held under the enemy's control mostly by fear, so if can demonstrate superior force, we may be able to get most of them to stand down. If not, a description of the armor presents relatively few weak points. The shielding and strength of these armors are not top-notch like the cloaked figures and eventually will break under too much stress. They wield large axes. These axes have the abilities to make use of their energy source to manipulate the elements. Most of our elemental attacks then will probably be countered. A common ability of these armors are also their ability to absorb chakra and convert it to their energy."
*Shunketsu then moved on to the pic about the cloaked figures*
"These enemies so far provide the greatest threat. Not only do they have the same abilities as the foot soldiers, all the while in armor with looks similar to those our allies from Snow have, they have even more powers. Their armor allows them to contort their bodies to all kinds of positions, making dodging very easy for them. They hold a variety of weapons on them. First is a strange orb like device. It attaches to the victim and inflicts potentially fatal statuses upon them. Now we come to their main weapon: their swords. They come in a standard size and shape and have even more element manipulation abilities than their ax counterparts. However, the biggest threat from these is their ability to change their shape and ability according to their user. We've seen weapons ranging from extending swords to bows and arrows. What weapons representatives from other villages have seen, I do not currently know."
"Now, onto the matter of the towers. I don't think we have to worry about the large cannons that each tower comes with being that we'll be inside...However, we do know that the tower emits an anti-chakra field and thus we can count on the fact that almost the entire base will have the same field."
"That about concludes the briefing...any questions?"
