I can't believe it. I can't wrap my mind around it. It's over. Such a historic day!!
I am sure everyone has lots to say...I just had to do something as a tribute to these wonderful characters that have been a part of my live for the past 7 years. I grew up with Gilmore Girls. I was 11 when it started and now I am 18. Such a huge chunk of my life! Goodbye Rory! Goodbye Lorelai! You will live in my heart forever!!

I cried. You don't realize how much those characters actually put into you until now... They are the reason I talk fast drink a lot of coffee and have a thing for guys in baseball caps and flannel shirts

`Chloe Sullivan` I cried. You don't realize how much those characters actually put into you until now... They are the reason I talk fast drink a lot of coffee and have a thing for guys in baseball caps and flannel shirts I can't say the show had that much effect on me. It was still sad to see it go though.

They are the reason I talk fast drink a lot of coffee and have a thing for guys in baseball caps and flannel shirts they have influenced me soo much (in a good way!) ill miss them soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. crying ever since i started watching, the show has been like my rock. whenever im stressed out or sick i watch an episode and it makes me feel better. ill miss the gilmores ! heart

Whenever I'm upset I watch the show for a few hours and it make me feel better.

I wish the finale had a greater impact on me. It's actually just hitting me now that the show is over. I haven't really been in my finale mode and I think for Gilmore Girls it's because I didn't even know the show was cancelled until last week's episode! (haven't been to this guild in a while) And i've been in a bit of denial since. But after reading this thread....I'm really sad it's over and I don't want it to gooo!

Yeah, the finale didn't have that much of an impact on me either ^^ But I am sad that it's over. Hopefully the networks will do reruns of the old Gilmore Girls episodes so we can relive the years over again.

i did wind up crying at the end cuz it saddened me. now, right after being into buffy on tuesdays (even years later) i hope that a good show takes place on the slot that was held by these two great shows. i'm saddened to see the show go especially because i didn't think it was much of an episode .-.

Me and my mom used to watch it when I was nine. She was diagonosed with cancer when I was eleven. Gilmore Girls was like the one show we agreed on and that we both loved. She reminded me so much of Lorelai! So cheerful and happy!She said I'm like her Rory, shy & beautiful. She died a year ago. I miss her and now that Gilmore Girls is over, it feels like her memory is gone. But I know it isn't. But I know everytime I watch Gilmore Girls, I think of her. And I always will think of her. That's why Gilmore Girls is such a special show to me. crying biggrin heart
