Name: Kira Hiromi
Age: 19, born in March on the 3rd
Gender: Female
Pokemon: Vaporeon
Starting Stage: Human
Physical Description if Starting Human: Standing at around 5’3”, Kira has waist length strawberry blond hair with high-lights and jade-green eyes. Like most red heads, she has very fair complexion, but lacks any freckles. After 14 years of gymnastics, as well as having played Soccer in High School, Kira has a very lean, muscular build. Piercing wise, she has double piercings on her lobes, and a single cartilage piercing on her right ear. She has no tattoos on her, but has had intentions of getting a koi fish tattooed on the back of her left shoulder blade.
Personality: Kira is a very out going person with seemingly endless amounts of energy. Being the typical Pisces, she tends to be very in tune with other people’s feelings and can read body language relatively well. Ironically, her excess amounts of energy cause her to be on the ditzy side and she can be very oblivious, especially when it involves boys hitting on her or people disliking her affections. A very kind soul, Kira always tries her best to make people happy, even if it is at the cost of her own happiness. Finally, she tends to be a bit clingy and like to show her affections towards someone physically.
History: Born to two researchers, Kira is the only child of Takashi and Chiziru Hiromi. Her father, Takashi, was a field researcher on the behaviors of pokemon; meanwhile, Kira’s mother, Chiziru, was a researcher on the habits and interactions of pokemon and their environment. The Takashi side of the family never approved of their marriage, and shortly after the ceremony, disowned him.
When Kira was born into the family, her mother quit researching to raise the baby while Takashi continued on with his field research. To help Chiziru care for the infant, Chiziru’s mother moved in with them. Takashi did his best to be there for Kira and help raise her, but his constant traveling for his studies kept him away, causing him to miss most of Kira’s years of development.
In the summer of Kira’s 4th birthday, her father decided to take her with him on a Whalmer watching research trip. For the majority of the trip, Kira clung to her father, not wanting to waist the rare moments of being with him. As fate would have it, the ship was attacked by a school of Sharpeedos, and was destroyed. In the chaos that followed, the waves turned violent against the humans stranded in the water. Both Kira and Takashi were pulled into the dark, cold depths of the ocean. While Takashi struggled to keep his daughter and himself at the surface, by the time the rescue team was on the scene, both had drowned.
Immediately after being pulled from the water, attempts of resuscitations where made on the two, and while Kira finally opened her eyes again, her father was pronounced to be dead. Life was hard for Kira’s mother over the next few years, and Kira was never the same after the disaster, having developed a very intense hydrophobia. Kira’s mother moved with Kira to a new home in Azalea Town, close to Kira’s grandmother’s house.
Now a Sophomore in college with plans of majoring in Psychology emphasizing in pokemon mannerisms, Kira has hopes and dreams of following in her father’s footsteps in research. After years of treatment, Kira was finally able to get a decent enough control over her phobia; enough so that when she had gotten 2 semesters of straight ‘A’s, her mother and grandmother bought her tickets to go on a cruise for the summer. Happily, Kira accepted, and the first week of summer after her freshman year of college, she boarded the cruise liner. The sea, however, can be very cruel, and in the middle of the cruise, Kira was swept off the deck in the middle of a storm. In the middle of the dark, churning waters, she was lost to the seas, and eventually blacked out.
Strengths: Kira’s greatest strength is her impath skills and her ability to pick up and read even a sliver of an emotion. She also can have her rare moments where her ditzy personality subsides and reveals an intellectual side of her. Physically, her greatest strengths lie in her muscles, giving her the ability to move swiftly and agilely.
Weaknesses: Of all the insignificant weaknesses that makes one human, Kira’s Achilles’ heel is her intense hydrophobia. After the cruise liner incident, it seems to have not only come back to her, but become even more intense.
Misc: As a pokemon researcher, Kira has never caught or trained a pokemon before. Ironic, seeing that her grandmother had been quite a hot trainer in her younger days.
