To start, if you haven't heard of Matt Furey's Combat Conditiong book, then here is his webpage advertising just that.




Now, for those of you who have heard of it, I have a few questions...


1. did you try the program?


2. did it yeild good results? were the results as good as the ad says?


3. is the program full of crap?



also, discuss:


excercise programs that don't work for crap.

other things to good to be true.

general conditioning tips for martial arts.

You mean Mr. "Catch Wrestling". He's a ******** joke. That book is horrible. Don't get it.

He talks alot of crap, but so far he hasn't competed in ADCC or any other major Grappling competetion. So he has no real credentials in my opinion.

I haven't seen Masaaki Hatsumi compete in any UFC championships either.
Credentials mean nothing, Mirko. It's what you've got up your sleeve, not how much you've showed off your skills.

You've read Sun Tzu. The most skillful are those that don't need to fight.

I'm not saying this guy isn't full of crap. I haven't read his book or heard of him.
I just find not competing in major competitions an extremely lame, half-assed argument for someone not knowing what he's talking about.

Especially from your part. I expected better arguments, perhaps even examples?
