Err...since the only other thread involves Takao and Kai, and I have no fanart that can be classified under such a category, I decided to, well...start a new one. So...here goes.
There's an explanation for this pic. It was inspired by a friend's fanfic (not quite an AU since bit beasts were still involved somehow). Russia's launched an all-out war on Japan, whose Defence Force (army) was depleted until there was only one squadron left, and Kai happened to be the resident captain. Kyouju dies during an attack on their camp (poor thing) and the last Japanese squadron is captured. They are later rescued by a squad or two from the Chinese army (reunion with Rei here). The British army arrives a few weeks later.
However, the ending is bittersweet. Though the Russian army is defeated, Rei and Max are lost on a covert mission to the Russian headquarters (which helped Japan and her allies snatch victory from under the Russians' nose), hence their 'ghostly images' in the upper half of the pic. I couldn't find a decent pic of Kyouju, though crying And the brown-haired girl? She was an OC who proved to be of extreme importance later on, so I included her. There's still another one to come, as soon as my server cooperates and lets me upload it...

Finally! My server cooperated with me, so I was able to upload the second fanart piece I wanted to share. Oh, and just so you guys know, the pic above was the first time I used Photoshop to color my work, so it isn't that good. Go easy on me, 'kay?
Anyway, here's the next one:
Only my second attempt at adding a background by digital means; that's why it sucks greatly. Easy on the critique regarding that. As for Kai's appearance...I believe I was going for a semi-realistic look, hence the non-spiky hair sweatdrop it's not that great, I know, but I just wanted to share it. Is it all right to advertise here? No it isn't my guild, but my dA page.

And yes, he has a cat. Haven't you noticed that he seems really fond of animals in the third season? 3nodding Especially cats! xd :
I actually have another one of Kai, but he's in a jounin outfit, the one from Naruto! xd Crazy idea, that one...

Yes he seems to like animals alot...
and it is mostly cats! (I'm convinced it's because he loves Rei) but that's just my inner fan girl talking xD

I'm actually glad that he seems to like cats (is Rei included? Probably. xd ), because that's going to be another thing I have in common with him (aside from the personality - my mom commented on this once - and the *ahem* lack of stature rofl and the age)

Well, while I was lazy that time, even if I weren't lazy now I wouldn't be able to resize it decently, anyway. I don't have a proper program that can resize pics, such as Photoshop or Microsoft Photo Manager (what I used in the school computer labs - currently closed for summer though there's summer class going on). stare

One prob. Zii even with some of the programs there is no guarentee that Flame would be able to resize them from where they are already done.

Their cool pics ^-^ I like them. I'm not sure which I like better though, I love that Kai has a cat in the second one because I love it when he's with cats (or any other animal) and the first one I just think it looks awesome!
