((This is a Private RP between Sapphire Lazuli and Myself. Please do not post unless asked. )) ---------------------------- Rashkae nibbled daintily on a few blades of grass. This world was so filled with surprises! Or perhaps she had just forgotten what it was like. She chuckled softly knowing it was probably the latter. It had been so long since she had traveled this world. With a soft chuffing sound she stepped forward to taste another patch of the green grass. Who knew something as common as this plant could taste this good? Her long tail flicked a bit and her ears turned and twitched about, kmoving in an attempt to catch any sound she could. She was only mortal here, after all.

Auriga drank her fill at the stream she had stopped by. She hadn't realised how thirsty all that running had made her until she heard the fresh water trickling. Lifting her head with a satisfied smile, she looked around her. She had been running for so long she had forgotten to actually take heed of where she was heading. The grass here was as green as it got, and Auriga decided a little grazing wouldn't hurt. As she picked a particulary lush spot of grass, she nticed something out of the corner of her eye?
Another soquili...?

Rashkae's right ear flicked as the sounds of another entered her hearing range. She paused in her grazing to look up, just because one was old did not mean they could not be curious.
It was another mare, and one that loked marginally like herself, though she was much darker, a bit like her new young home-mate, Azariel. Swallowing what food remained in her mouth she raised her head, smiling at the younger mare. "Hello," She greeted softly, just loud enough for the other to hear, "A pleasant day, isn't it?"

Auriga smiled widely as the other mare greeted her.
"It is indeed!" She couldn't help herself as she trotted over. Auriga was a sucker for conversation, and she liked it even more when someone else started it so she didn't feel so intrusive.
"As much as I love this rain, this is a nice change..." She chuckled slightly, nodding to the skies.

Rashkae chuckled sofly, "Of course, but one cannot say that rain is a bad thing," She pointed out softly, "After all, without it there would be nothing to admire in this world." Ah, this young mare was quite pleasant! Unlike a few others she could mention; this one was a nice change.
"I am Rashkae," She added after a momkent, wishing to end the awkwardness of the conversation quickly, "What may I call you?" The smile still shone on her face. She loved meet new people and chatting with old friends. Wasn't that what life was all about?

Auriga nodded in agreement. "I happen to love the rain, although playing in it gets me some funny looks from other Soquili...!"
"My name is Auriga..." She smiled widely. "Rashkae.... that certainly is an unusual name..." Auriga tiled her head slightly.

Rashkae laughed merrily at the younger mare's comment. Youthfulness could do wonders, couldn't it?
"But what is so bad with receiving a strange look?" She replied jauntily, smiling softly, "It means you are unique enough to be noticed, after all." She shook her head a bit, chuckling again. Ah, she really should have come around here sooner. Such lovely personalities were here.
"Auriga? That is a lovely name." She complimented, long tail flicking just a bit.
"Oh?" She tilted her head to the side, briefly taking on a child-like innocence, "It is? I just thought it sounded quite nice." She laughed again. Ah...modern creatures and their names.

Auriga laughed slightly. "It does sound nice... just very unusual, which is of course no bad thing!"
"And strange looks don't bother me, in fact they often just amuse me greatly!" She grinned slightly, flicking her hair back. "And really, the majority of Soquili I've met are all very very unique! It's almost hard to stand out, if it's your wish to do so..."
"However, I'm just happy being me, and they can choose whether or not to take me for who I am.." She commented as she looked at her reflection in the stream.

She was a lovely soul, this Auriga. It was so rare to find one such as her. To find someone who enjoyed being themselves and not trying to conform. It was a surprise to Rashkae herself. Such creatures were so rare, Rashkae had met only a few of them.
"Ah...." A gentle smile, "You are refreshing, Auriga." She commented softly, her glowing eyes closed for the smile, "I wish there were more like you."
A soft chuckle and she shook her head, "Am I strange yet?" She asked softly, laughing, "I must sound completely odd."

Auriga's nares flushed with colour as Rashkae complimented her. She gave a little bow of her head, smiling.
"Thank you Rashkae... And no, you are strange... but you certainly are... intruiging.... Where are you from?" Auriga questioned, looking at the mare. Rashkae's odd colouring, and bright eyes that were in no way lifeless, certainly DID intrigue Auriga...

Rashkae laughed again, nodding to the side once, to indicate an offer to walk with her. One couldn't possibly eat while chatting with another, it just was....well, rude.
"I come from a very far away place, Auriga," She told her gently, shaking her head, "So far away, you have probably never heard of it." It was true, no one was likely to have heard of her homeland; places such as that didn't like to reveal their existance.

Auriga's nearly lifted off her head in interest. She walked with Rashkae.
"I have ran very far, and often.... But... I don't think you're talking of anywhere I could have visited, Rashkae... Am I right...?" She looked at the other mare with great interest.

Rashkae chuckled softly, "No, I apaologize, but I doubt you could have found my home. It is a very long distance away." She sighed softly, "I miss my family sometimes, but I know that this was a good decision, and I know that I shall see them soon enough."
She laughed again, shaking her head, "Knowing them, they'd most likely follow me!" The absurdity of that comment was probably wasted on Auriga as she could not possibly know her family.

((Sorreee!!! I was at a festival XD))
Auriga smiled. "Family... I hope one day to have Soquili to call my family, it would be nice to have somewhere to run back to.." She chuckled light-heatedly. It was not meant to be a sad statement, her laugh was her way of showing Rashkae that.
"Are your family all as.. interesting as you are?"

Rashkae smiled gently. She couldn't return to her family for a long time, but if they wished they could join her in her adventures of this place. It was a pleasant hope.
Oh, Indeed!" She laughed, remembering how they looked like quite easily. "My brothers and sisters, I have two of each, are all great fun to be with but as they have important duties--much more interactive than mine--they cannot escape as easily as I." She smiled at the memories, "I can only hope I'll see them someday, here."
She shook her head, not wanting the conversation to delve into less-cheerful topics, "But that is not of concern here. Perhaps there is something else you would like to discuss?" A gentle smile graced her lips again.
