I'm thinking of writing a story that I may someday turn into a book. Naturally, Phantom related, but it's got other aspects as well. Here's a small excerpt for you, tell me what you think:
“Very true, very true…come; it is almost time for our performance. I believe that if we do not arrive on time, ‘A disaster beyond our imaginations will occur.’ So we should hurry and change, or have the director blow a gasket at us.”
We approached the dressing rooms and entered the appropriate ones for our genders. I went to change into my chorus dress, Erik into his cloak and mask. Yes, that’s right. I’m dating the Phantom of the Opera. What makes it more fitting is that he was named after the Opera Ghost. That’s where the similarity ends, however. He has shoulder-length black hair, and emerald eyes. Problem is, Raphael has the same. They’re twins. Their only apparent difference is that Erik has a scar on his left cheek from a fight with Raphael from years ago. Raphael is playing Raoul, so that’ll make this entire performance rather strange for all of us, especially me.
Once another chorus girl, her name is Caroline, laced up the back of my dress for me, and I got my stage makeup on, the show was ready to start. We danced onto the stage and ‘rehearsed’ while Carlotta’s vibrato nearly shattered my ears. Not to mention Meg’s(Caroline) screech when the scenery fell onto Carlotta.
“Christine Daaé could sing it, Sir.”
“What, a chorus girl? Don’t be silly.”
After all the lines were said, I began to sing, for I am playing Christine Daaé both in this performance, and in my life.

All I can say is we don't cater to threads whose main purpose is to show off writing. There was a time a couple years ago when those type of threads flooded the Guild and made a hassle.

so i dont want to encourage tons of people flooding the forum with their fanfics, but if you do put this on fanfiction.net or some other fanfiction website le tme know, id love to read it!

I actually have to re-write nearly the entire thing because I changed the point of view, and now I decided to add a new twist to the story.

But you'll be the first to know. oo awesome! I've posted a little of it on deviantart. My username is the same as it is here, but with hyphens instead of spaces because the site is weird like that.

Actually, sites that do not allow spaces are far more common than those that do. So technically, Gaia's the weird site. It is the only one I know of that permits spaces in screennames.
